A Charmed Life

Jinx did not like being touched by this man, he took her pistols and she knew she wasn't going to ever see her weapons again. The asshole would probably keep them. Didn't that Mikko chick date this guy? What was she thinking!?

Jinx got out of the car like instructed and waited for Spike to join her. Part of her thought about running, but she didn't want to abandon Gabe's car. Who knows what Spike would do to it.

No morphine but I do have some other drugs. Lydia carefully removed the IV from Corey and wrapped up his hand to stop the bleeding.

After she gave Corey a kiss and went back to the window.

Gabe brought his new girlfriend. Want to go out there meet up with them? Are you good to go down the stairs?

Gabe tried to chase after his fleeing car, worried about what Spike would do to Jinx, and where they were headed, but he was bleeding profusely. He had been shot in his shoulder and chest, but fortunately the bullet had missed his heart. Suddenly Bebop and Rocksteady appeared and he found himself being carried and placed in the side cart of a motorcycle, which he strongly protested...

"No hospital. We gotta track down Spike. I heard Carlos mention Lydia's shop and apartment...Spike probably headed there..." He told them, pressing a palm over his more severe injury. Once Jinx and his friends were safe, then maybe he would see Cindy or Lexi to remove the bullets from his body. Maybe.

But Dave did notice. And he would bring attention to it! "Did you get hit?!" And he lifted her shirt just enough to inspect the injury....

"We gotta get you to a hospital!"

Yeah, looks like a bullet got me. She took her shirt off and pressed it against her wound.

Just go to my place. I can take care of it there. Mikko can patch me up. No hospital.

Of course Gabe didn't want to go to the hospital. The two mutants understood that. But they didn't know if it was wise to go after Spike. Gabe was in no condition to fight. But it's what he wanted. so they turned around and headed to the tattoo shop at full speed.

Corey returned the kiss and was about to ask about the drugs, but it seemed that Gabe and his...girlfriend?' were getting out of the car. It was time to go.

"I didn't think Gabe kept girlfriends." Corey shrugged and grabbed his hoodie, tugging it on. He was stiff and sore all over, but managed without bringing attention to that fact.

"Yeah, stairs..no problem." He pecked Lydia's cheek. "You ready to head out? Need to pack anything?" He wasn't sure how long they would be staying. Hopefully not long. He really liked it here. It was small and cozy and he loved just spending time with Lydia.

Spike climbed out of the car, sore from his injuries but too stubborn to take it easy. Gabe had shot him in the stomach, chest and leg. He was losing a lot of blood.

"If Carlos wanted this place destroyed, there must be a Dragon in there. You're gonna help me kill 'im. Then maybe I'll let you go."

Lydia quickly threw some cloths into a duffle bag. She tucked her phone in her back pocket and gun in the waist band of her shorts.

Let's get out of here. Hopefully nothing happens to the place while we're gone.

She opened the door and lead Corey downstairs to the shop level. Before they walked outside, Lydia spotted Spike standing outside.

Fuck! It's Spike. She pulled out her gun dropped her bag and ran out the shop shooting at Spike.


Jinx had no intention of helping him kill anyone. Maybe, you let me go. No you WILL let me go.

Then shots were being fired and Jinx attempted to dive back into the car.

Raph had once again headed into the burning building, searching for the missing cat and helping anyone he stumbled across along the way. There wasn't much left of the building and Raph knew that at any moment the structure would give way....

And then it finally happened. The complex began collapsing ...

"Everyone out....now!!" He shouted to those that had been brave enough to go back inside....

The fire trucks and ambulance finally reached the scene, and Raph swore under his breath as he ducked into the shadows to wait for his brothers and friends. What had taken so damn long?! He wanted to give them a piece of his mind, but had already exposed himself to so many.

He watched as medical workers tended to the people that had been placed on the curb. A sigh of relief as they tended to the old woman. She looked so sad and worried and Raph wished that he could be there for her, to give her hope that maybe Truffles had made it out. It seemed she had no one..ugh...this was hard!

Don was mostly useless through everything. He saw to a few people and patched up small injuries. It was pointless to try and hide from the humans at this point. When the emergency cars and trucks pulled up he slipped away from everyone to look for his brothers.

He remembered seeing Raph run into the building. was he still in there? He had to check.

Don hurried into the falling building. choking on smoke.

Raph! You in here?

As soon as Lydia and Corey stepped outside, Spike recognized the guy as the punk from the street. The one Gabe had taken under his wing. The little shit had tried to choke him out!!!

Then, more shots were being fired. One of the bullets grazed his neck, ripping open an artery. He pulled Jinx in front of him as a shield, but dropped his knife to free up his other hand to press on the gushing wound. He had bit off more than he could chew, and had no idea how he was going to get out of this....

"Hold your fire, you'll hit Jinx..." Corey pushed Lydia's gun up, but had to admit, her gangster side was hella sexy!

Just then Gabe, Bebop and Rocksteady arrived. Gabe stumbled out of the side car and rushed at Spike, taking him down and pinned him. Using his fists, he began beating him in the face...

Mondo watched their friends drive away and got on his board going after them. He wanted to make sure they got to where they were going safely. His board had small rockets on it so he was able to keep up with the car.

Lydia stopped shooting. It looked like she had done some damage. then Gabe and the mutants showed up.

Jinx ran over to the safety of the mutants.

Gabe stop! He's done for already. Lydia tried her best to pull Gabe off of Spike. Mikko will never forgive you if you kill him. and you look like you need medical attention too. Get inside.

Gabriel was in a blinded rage. Spike had tried to kill him. Had tried to kill them!! Gabe didn't let up until Spike lost consciousness, then took Lydia's gun from her, aiming at Spike's head. He pulled the trigger, but only a click could be heard. Then another. The pistol was out of bullets. Gabe was suffering the effects of his own blood loss and staggered....

Corey took the pistol from Gabe. "Go get patched up, man. We'll deal with him..." He told him, nodding to Spike. Though, he wasn't sure exactly what to do with him...

Lydia put an arm around Gabe's waist and did her best to carry him upstairs. Let's get you patched up. Jinx, you can take my car and do something with Spike.

Jinx rolled her eyes. What was she going to do? With Rocksteady's help they got Spike into the car. Jinx decided to drive him to the hospital. Because she couldn't just let him die...maybe. She wouldn't rush. if he made it to the hospital great. if he died before than then that's what the fates wanted.

the friends got back on their bikes and drove off.

Andy floored it to get them back to Sam's place as soon as possible, Dave fussing over her and trying to slow the bleeding. Vic gave Mikko another reassuring squeeze. The night had certainly gone to hell. But at least they were all alive...

And soon they were pulling up to Sam's place. Andy parked, then moved to the back to help where he could, opening the side door.

Dave was quick to scoop Sam up and carried her inside. "You got medical supplies?"

Once they were at Sam's place she let Dave scoop her up and head inside. She tossed the keys to her place to Mikko who opened the door up for them.

I got a bunch of stuff in the bathroom.

On it! Mikko hurried to the bathroom and found all the supplies she would need then came back to the group. She'll be good as new.

Um yeah no Mondo, Leo said no one was to know where the girls are staying for now. And the girls intended to follow his instructions for now. Well as long as possible. Sooner or later it will come to light.

Usually Lilo was all for breaking rules. But this one was Nani levels of all sorts of seriousness so she will behave for now.

And Cobra certainly noticed when he was being followed. So when the asked to be taken to the New York Medical College parking lot, pulling up. All three sooty, burnt and holey clothing girls piling out, a now purring Orca on Erica's shoulder and a Stitch by Lilos feet, Cobra stepping out too wondering if he had to worry about some lizard mutant following his adopted niece and her friends?

Buuuut the girls certainly didn't look to worried.

Lucky for Erica and Lilo Mondo wasn't following them. He was after Vic and his group. Which he stopped when they came to Sam's house. He saw that Sam had to be carried inside and worried she was injured.

Mondo kicked his skateboard into his hands and headed up to Vic.

Hey man, you all need any help?

Hopefully everyone is safe, and well he is staying as much out of sight as possible, pretty sure no one will recall the bandana less mutant turtle helping at all.

He swears again, grabbing some guys megaphone off him and hurrying after Donnie spying him going into the building... Too late to stop him but we'll they have done what they can, time to get brothers out!

" Raph! Donnie! Get out now! Where ever you can!" following where he thought Donnie went, " Nearest exit! Out!"

And he will call out searching, telling them to get out what ever exits they can.

Jinx still wondered if she was doing the right thing by taking Spike to the hospital. If he lived she was sure he would be back on the streets in a few weeks looking to kill everyone.

Soon she pulled up to the ER entrance.

She ran in and told the lady behind the desk that she found some guy bleeding out on the street. That she didn't know who he was but wanted to help.

Spike was soon being placed on a bed and wheeled into surgery to try and save his life.

They were wrong. Good.

Sending out messages to say their safe and question after everyone to enquire if their safe Cobra takes the girls the alien and cat to their new room mates place.

Corey thought letting Spike live was a terrible idea. If the guy recovered, he would come back. He helped Lydia get Gabe up the stairs and to the couch. Gabe wanted to protest, but knew he needed the help...

"Where's your dog, man?" Corey asked. It was no secret, Jigs was his pal.

Gabe frowned at the question. "He probably jumped out of the car when all hell broke loose. He knows the way home." But there was a hint of worry in Gabe's tone.

"You're not a very good dog owner. You should give him to me." It was worth a shot.


Gabe managed a sarcastic chuckle, that seemed to hurt his entire body. [b]"Not a chance. You can't even take care of yourself. "[b]

Dave carried Sam into the bedroom and carefully placed her on the bed. Trusting that Mikko was going to patch her up, he stayed close, for moral support.

"You okay? You need water? Beer? Maybe a tampon? How about a kitty?" He scooped up one of her cats and placed it onto the bed with her. This whole incident made him realize just how attached to her he was becoming...


Vic was trying to assist Mikko any way he could, though he was never really good at the medical stuff. Hearing Mondo, he spared the mutant a small smile.

"I think Mikko has it handled, but thank you. Did everyone make it out of the complex? Everyone okay?"
