Immortals Beginnings (About 8 months after Years gone by)

It been eight months since the attack on the farm, since she and her kids lost Gabe. It took her longer than she thought to really move on but she found new love in Victor. And in her new baby. Lorelei was just born two days ago. She was tiny, light blue, and sort of resembled a cat. But she was beautiful and also full of life. Evelyn also had given birth to a baby boy. She named the child Devon and was a proud mama. As Mikko was a proud grandmother.

And Mikko and Victor only grew closer together, much to Ezra's dissmay. Ezra never did find his father, but he wouldn't give up looking.

It was Spring time. The weather was cool but not cold and the sun was out. The bugs were all over the flowers that were growing in the yards. Mikko was with Lorelei at home. Sitting on the porch's swing feeding her.

Evelyn had a hard time with her birth. It was some close calls where the baby almost didn't make it. But little Devon was doing good now. He was a pretty big baby and that's probably why they had so much trouble. Thankfully Lexi and Baxter were able to save her and her little one.

Devon was sleeping as Evelyn cleaned the house. She enjoyed doing things like that. Cooking cleaning. it was more like a hobby to her. Upkeeping her home. Unlike her mother who's house was filled with gothic decor. Her home was bright and sunny.

It was a beautiful day finally. the rain had passed and she looked out the window to se Eric, their resident zombie, laying out on the grass.

The farm had went through a lot but things were finally getting back to normal.

Ezra was mostly shut in. The only one he let into his little bubble was Jade. Jade was his happy place, where nothing bad or wrong could happen. But there was one issue. A turtle named Spike.

Spike had confessed his love to Jade. And though Ezra felt he had nothing to worry about he had his father's jealousy.

He was inside, as usual. Drawing and painting. He learned how to make his own canvases. his paintings were monsterous. grotesque. They depicted all manner of horror. It was his way of reliesing his feelings. everything negative he had in his head came out in his paintings.

Spike quickly found himself a home of his own once he was able. It had been months and honestly his place was a mess. He was some thing of a hoarder. And every month he needed to weed out things he didn't need anymore but it was so hard getting rid of stuff.

Also his fondness for Jade grew. He would often give her gifts. Flowers, jewels that he found on scouting trips. anything pretty that he thought she might like.

Over the months Don grew worse. At first he was adapting to the loss of his sight. But after a couple months things started to go down hill. He was hearing things that weren't there. Seeing things though he couldn't see. It was like his mind was playing cruel tricks on him.

He decided to leave Shell City.

He made his way to the farm, with help of course. And that's where he's been.

It didn't stop the noises or the visions. But he felt more at peace at the farm and was thankful that Flag let him stay there.

Today he was out by the pond. It was his favorite spot. It didn't matter if he was in the water or not. Being by the pond he was most at peace.

Adrian had fallen head over heals for Charlie. Even going so far as to ask her to move in with him. He wasn't really use to relationships. and didn't know how to handle one. But he tried.

He got some tips from Chris. But some of his tips he questioned. So jinx would help out too.

This morning he brought flowers to Charlie. With a big smile on his face he handed the dasies over to her.

Mikko and Evelyn weren't the only ones with little ones. Jinx also had a baby. It was like a group project! Fist Evelyn then Mikko then her! All baby buddies!

Jinx had a little boy a very small baby. Which was good because Jinx was a very small lady. But the baby was healthy and eating. He was only a few hours old and Jinx was still in the infirmary with her baby. They needed to name him!

You need a name. She told the baby that was laying on her chest.

Leo was not surprised when Don left. Disappointed and sad, but suspicious, but he couldn't do anything and wasn't a dictator or cult leader despite what fools who had no loyalty to each other let alone an entire population tries to claim - soooooo he encouraged his brother. Helped him out and made sure he was comfortable. And visited sometimes. But he wouldn't force a betrayed feeling Mikey to do so or stop Raph, his children ( though recommended against it for Yoshi), or his wife from going to visit. Just the same rules. Mikko, anything of hers and Ezra's were not welcomed back unless medically necessary, even though the rules had slackened as they often did when security and safety were upgraded.

The eggs were laid, safely and will hatch sometime.

Mike understood, but he didn't like it. They were a team and it was so out of character and wrong for a brother to want to be away... So to say he wasn't happy with Don was an understatement. Sure he visited the farm and left his special foods in the shapes of pizza and gyoza's that Don liked. But he never requested to talk to his brother.

Just asked to make sure he was okay and doing better, left his gifts and went home. Even with Leo's and Erica's encouragement.

Still it was easy to get lost int he day to day workings of ShellCity. After all they had much to do when Lilo stayed, and revealed Maui. A Demi God.

First was creating the moat, having the ocean that once only was at the rear gate now was all the way around, their city, really several long city blocks now was it's own almost island. The front gate still had a small land bridge to the main land.

And whilst Shen had been re enforcing their wall with her leaf, growing a strong wooden fortification around ShellCity.

Inside the large crop grounds now had green houses so another bug attack wouldn't wipe out such large swarths. And more foods brought back by Shen grew.

Inside more homes were being removed, rebuilt, more added, more park spaces and 'pools' and more crops were going in, they had a larger population to care for now. More work went underground too to provide a place to hide in times of attacks.

She hated the hurt and worse the suspicion created by Donatello's departure. Mostly by Mikey and she tried to comfort him with her beloved as much as possible. And thankfully they would have four new hybrids any day now to liven things up. Mikey was a dedicated adoring doting Uncle.

Again as ShellCity strived to repair itself and become stronger, Many peoples ideas taken on board and oh she was so proud of Leo and their people - the place was becoming safer, they accepted Maui's terms, and now thanks to that they had protection from another attempt by beings like Loki. Sure he could approach ShellCity but thanks to Maui he couldn't just appear within it no more, compell its people or send portals in to let in monsters to hurt them.

And that was all they cared about, the safety of their citizens. And family should they choose to remain in ShellCity. They could do nothing and no wouldn't force people to remain.

But their numbers grew.

Their city looked great.

Their barriers more secure.

And she loved the view from the skies flying with Yoshi. It almost looked like a giant sea turtle. Almost. no head, tail or flippers but soon maybe... It would take time though for Shen to help SproutJr grow to that size to be 'sea turtle' and some modifications from Jumba.


And yes she and Leo had invited Raphael, Jade, Michelangelo and Donatello to visit. But sadly none would probably come. No Mike would. And she knew Yoshi and Shen will be there. Yoshi was on egg guarding, he rarely left his younger siblings. Shen shadowed Leo, learning, as she will be taking on more and more leading duties.

A shared small grin with Leo across the Great Hall. But back to the not so fun part of leading. Paper works.

Her people were happy, and many little ones conceived and would be born in the be born in waters around ShellCity, her people revered Dragons as their protectors and turtles, this was a natural home for her large extensive pod. And they guarded the waters around ShellCity. Their home.


She got the invite, she and Shen had sooort of gotten close? well both of them were not sure of anything but maybe there was something. So as she helped her mother and grandmother bring up some fish to bring to Mike she would transform, maybe visit Spike, then go up to the rooftop. He had an invite to.

8 months seemed to have come and gone so fast. Mikko had trouble moving past Gabriel and Victor respected that. She had not been given closure, after all. He knew that had to be hard on her. He was patient, going at her pace. He was happy when she started letting him get closer to her heart. He knew that he would never replace Gabe, but he hoped  someday she could love him.

He loved their life together. They had gone on many adventures outside the walls of the farm. They had found the furniture that Mikko had talked about. The place had been gothed out and he loved it! He still couldn't remember his life from before Bishop experimented on him, but he was creating a new life with the woman of his dreams. He remembered how to play guitar and other instraments and was writing music. The world was dead, but it still needed music! Though, his playing and singing had slowed down over the last several days. Mikko had given birth to the beautiful little alien baby, and Victor loved her like his own. He hoped that maybe someday he would have one of his own, but for now he had Lorelei.


He had spent the morning  on a supply run with Flag. He was eager to get home to his little family, and excited over something he had found for Mikko...though, he was a little nervous about giving it to her, because he would have to ask her a very serious question. He had talked about it with Flag and the leader tried to encourage him. Maybe someday soon...


They were finally back and Victor headed home, a smile stretching across his lips seeing Mikko feeding the baby on the porch swing. He hopped onto the porch, placing a backpack down at his feet as he plopped down next to his love, leaning in and pressing a series of kisses all over her face before meeting her lips. It lingered for a moment, then he nuzzled her shoulder.

"You look beautiful as always."

Mikko smiled brightly at Victor when he returned home. She giggled at his kisses and once he reached her lips she hummed against his lips as she returned the kiss.

Welcome back. We've missed you.

And she did love him. Maybe she had loved him from the beginning, but she no doubt loved him now.

Lorelei had finished eating. Mikko gently put the baby over her shoulder and after adjusting herself, patted the little ones back.

Oh so exciting. Four new little siblings will hatch soon.

Sure sad Uncle Donnie left, but she visited now and then. Yoshi wouldn't, but that was both his and their mother and father's decision mostly to keep him hidden for a bit long no need invite trouble. It won't last forever but a while longer.

She spent days usually beside her father and Uncles Mikey and Raph sometimes, learning how to run things. How to rule, but how to be an approachable leader. From moments her parents just sat out in one of the parks and people came to them, spoke to them, with them, sang songs, told stories, did art, discussed changes and what they wanted to see.

And afternoons she hung out with Jade... or tried but her cousin barely acted like they were here let alone wanted to hang.

And she will kept her parent's secrets. She spoke of her brother very little outside of ShellCity. And he spent a lot of time the last four months, as he was now guarding the jewel-like eggs of their newest four siblings.  The excitement she hid, judging by the invite they would hatch tonight. Yay!

Did he bring her back anything ...yes. Yes he had! But right now didn't seen like the right time to give that to her. Plus, he was still working up the nerve and he wanted it to be romantic.

"I did!" He told her, and began digging through the bag. He pulled out several blankets for the little one, baby toys, some paint brushes and small bottles of acrylic paint for Ezra, even if the boy hated him.

"I know Ezra likes to paint. I know he doesn't like me, so you can give them to him." He told her, trying to hide that fact that it did bother him that Ezra still didn't like him.


"Annnnd, last, but certainly not least..." He pulled out several rock and pop CDs and handed them to Mikko. "For the lady! There's some good stuff in there!" He leaned back on the swing and wrapped an arm around her and gently brushed the little one's cheek.

Mikko was happy with all the gifts. Of course anything that Victor got for her or their family she would be happy with. When he put an arm around her she leaned into him laying her head on his shoulder.

Give Ezra some time. He's really taking Gabe's disappearance hard. I'm glaf that he has Jade and his painting to keep him grounded. I know he'll love the paint and brushes. And I love everything else you go and all you do for us. Can't wait to jam to the music. Though their singing I'm sure doesn't compare to your singing.

Lorelei yawned and looked up at her parents with a fist in her mouth. Other than her looks she was like any other baby. And it was yet to be seen if she got any gifts from Mikko.

Mikko would have given the baby Vic's last name if he knew it. So Lorelei was a McKinnon.

Are you hungry? I can whip up something.

It was weird not having her uncle Donnie at Shell City, but Jade visited the Farm quite frequently and sometimes stayed a few nights with Ezra. She wanted to move in with him, but with her uncle moving, she didn't want to put her dad through two big changes all at once. Though, she had dropped the hints and Raph had picked up on them. He just wasn't ready to accept that his little girl wasn't a kid anymore and was ready to make her own way.

Spike was sweet and a real cutie, but Jade tried to make him understand that she had a boyfriend that she loved very much. That wouldn't stop her from being his friend, though.

Jade had left Shell City early to make the drive to the farm. The guards let her in and she parked close to Ezra's house, stretching after she climbed out of the vehicle. It was a beautiful day and she hoped to get Ezra out of the house for awhile. She knew that her boyfriend's relationship with his mother was strained, but maybe she could help them patch that up...

She knocked on the door just to announce herself before she let herself inside, knowing that he wouldn't mind and would be glad to see her. He was working on some paintings and like most of his artwork, it was dark and depicted demons...

"Hey, handsome!" She greeted, slipping her arms around him. "You've been busy!" And one of the paintings caught her attention. The 'demon' looked really familiar. She chuckled softly. "Is that Vic?"

Yoshi curled up in the tea house in the gardens, listening ot he water of the pools shift and breathing warm air over the new eggs.


There were patches in some of the shells where the jewel brightness had faded and there and little bodies moved, or tried to in confines now almost too small for them anymore. Hah! tonight.


His tail tip played in the water and his wing curled over those precious new siblings. and he rests his head, his hearing and sight was best up here and he wouldn't be snuck up on.


Now just the waiting game until the night fell and his family that will come came to be with them.

Victor gave Mikko a squeeze and nodded. He understood why Ezra was upset, but he was hopeful that someday the boy would give him a chance. Though, Ezra would probably never know that Gabe had cheated on Mikko before disappearing. It was probably for the best that he didn't know.

He smiled at her compliment about his singing, pressing a kiss against her temple. "Better than James Hetfield? I'll take that." He joked.

He gave Lorelei's cheek a soft kiss. The little one had him wrapped around his little finger and he couldn't have loved her more even if she was his own kid. She was his, as far as he was concerned.

"Starving!" He admitted. "But I can whip us up something. I'm sure Lore has kept you busy today."

8 months had passed, and Harley had not coped well with the loss of her little one. She was often depressed and couldn't help but wonder if her little one was a boy or girl. The loss had made her grow distant from Flag. She still loved him, and he always tried his best to cheer her up, but there was just a huge void in her heart. It didn't help that everyone else were having babies.


She was glad that Victor was a resident here. She loved live music and listening to it helped her get out of her own head. The community had grown and the walls and security levels had improved. Like everyone else, she was still worried that Bishop would try to hit them again. He knew where they lived, after all. Mikko had given birth to one of gis projects, so she feared it was only a matter of time.


It was a beautiful and sunny day. Flowers were starting to grow around the pond and the grass was so vibrant. Harley was spending some time out by the pond with the kids, watching them play, imagining what it would be like if her baby had been given a chance to be born.

Nooo she's a good baby. But I wont say no to my love's cooking.

She stood up and picked up the blankets and CDs. Holding the baby with the other hand and went inside.

Lorelei was falling asleep after having just ate so Mikko laid her in her crib. She would wash the blankets later and laid them over a chair.

After she made sure the baby was settled in Mikko returned to Victor, wrapping her arms around him and pressing kisses against his lips.

A smile tugged at Ezra's lips when Jade came in and hugged him. He set his brush down and turned to face her, putting his arms around her and giving her a squeeze.

It is. Think he'll like it? He asked with a little smirk.

He kissed her and led her away from his little work shop.

That spike guy hasn't been bothering you, has he? He asked sitting on the couch. He pulled Jade down on his lap and nuzzled her shoulder.

You know I hate it when you're gone.

Libby was bored! She walked into the infirmary to see if Jinx was done. There she spotted Jinx with a little baby. She walked up to the two and took a close look at the baby.


His's tiny. Too tiny. I can't play with him. She pouted.

you can when he gets older.

That's gonna take forever.

Chris couldn't be happier! He had a son! And a daughter! He would have to thank Death for fixing Jinx, though, he didn't plan on making any special arrangements to see the woman. The last 8 months had been spent looking after Jinx and making sure she was taken care of. And today was the big day! He was in the infirmary with his wife, carried away with fatherhood.

He ruffled Libby's hair. "Give him time. But, maybe you can help us come up with a name!"

Libby folded her arms.

Call him Sinky.

Clearly she was not liking her new brother very much. Jinx chuckled and shook her head.

No. Needs to be more spicy. Something cool. Like Jax. Or Max.
