Immortals Beginnings (About 8 months after Years gone by)

Troy had helped Danny...and the guy had left him to be torn apart. It wasn't surprising, but that didn't make the situation any less frustrating. Danny's actions had pretty much confirmed what Troy had suspected. He was ready to open fire, but then the Splicers showed up. Troy used this opportunity to slip back into his vehicle and make a u-turn. He wasted no time speeding back towards the farm.

He may view Ezra as little more than a drama making liar. Doesn't mean Leo hadn't been concerned. "  Are you alright? Jade?"

Jade had been trying to busy her worried mind by consoling and caring for any frightened residents that had to seek shelter at Ezra's due to the attack. Her little bee friend had free range within the confines of their home, or had been allowed to rest on her shoulder while she did what she could for those frightened. It seemed that things had calmed down now and most of the people had returned to their own home, and Jade was ready to pitch in and assist any clean up crew...

Hearing her uncle, Jade headed into the living room where Ezra had let him in. She spared him a soft, but guarded smile, afraid there had been casualties but hopeful that wasn't the case.....

"Is everyone okay?" She asked quietly, closing in and gently wrapping her arms around him in a hug. Obvious relief that he seemed to be okay except a sadness that hung on him and a bandaged leg.... "Are YOU okay?"

Back at Shell city the quite was desturbed by growling and high pitched screams. Out of the woods, Splicers ran out by the dozens coming at Shell city's walls.

They started to climb the fences, hungry and looking for food.

Relief mirrored Jade's. And the hug is returned. He went to answer he is fine.

But... Jade is not a child any more, he can tell her the truth of what happened and assure her for now they were indeed alright if hurting in some ways but healing.

So he does give her a hug squeeze and then draws back a little after a light kiss to her forehead of a very relieved to know she is okay Uncle. " I am physically alright, and so is your Aunty and cousin Yoshi. Your cousin Shen will need a little watching over, she got shot..." hitch in his voice, Shen's condition was as terrifying as Donatello's had been... but she will heal - still he will worry for her... " a couple of times and severely wounded, she has cocooned herself, I don't know how long that will take. I think Spike wanted her to stay here... I don't know why she was angry with him before this happened but would you be willing to help him keep an eye on her cocoon whilst here? You know she won't need much just to be left alone until ready to rejoin us." he will get to what happened to her Uncle Donnie in a moment. If Ezra helps out it would go a long way to making him trustworthy once more. But Leo won't ask him to.

The happy Beeyvern stays with Jade, on occassion flitting off to perch briefly on walls, ceiling, cupboards. Looking for somewhere it could begin to build a hive. Some where with access to outside to go harvest flowers.

Shell City alarms sound.

The wyvern here snatch splicers off the walls and destroy them, eating them. Leroys scramble along walls and immune to gun fire, fire and anything zombie related they mow through the splicers.

Those people not equipt or armoured to fight are already seeking the under ground hides under homes or other buildings.

Leatherhead knows Raphie, Mikey and Lilo are the only other leaders in charge so he steps up to directing. As these are splicers they are set on fire not just shot or ripped apart.

And the fences are not fences, infact not just walls. They are tight packed trees and old walling, Giant carnivorous plants Shen had grown especially for this caught some in sticky goo mats, or fronds that wind around them, in tub shaped bodies that once in are impossible to climb out of and begin disgusting the foul things.

Dozens or not the splicers won't find a easy pass up or over the wall. Drones took to the air in buzzing clouds to help take the splicers out long enough to be burned.

Mikey will see to ensuring that his and Leo's eggs and babies are tucked away safely with Lilo and before joining Leatherhead in directing the fight.

The armoured and armed vehicles join the fight on the ground to run down and burn any that make it over the walls and through the Leroy's and guards.

Yoshi gave Rick a toothy grin as he goes. He would have chatted with the bloke more but they can always speak at other times. He waits for his father and after checking on Shen moves to clear the mountain of reeds and chopper from the waters, making sure to fish out bodies of those that had been in the chopper.

Body's he piles with his injured wyvern. He will have to take them away to fix them.

For now though he is cleaning what he could. The chopper bits he will leave on shore. The reeds when dry will make fantastic fire kindling if the farm residents want it. If not he will take it away too.

Hunter is curiously and gets head briefly stuck in a shirt before shaking it off and climbing into the bed... Or more of hopping!

Someday he will be took big to be here but for now he is able to stretch out beside Libby and hum happily.

The splicers easly scaled the walls. Even burned they still survived and made their way into the city. Those that got scooped up attacked the wyvern, tentacles wrapping around the dragons legs and bitting them.

Those that got inside the city started going to houses looking for fresh meat. They were expecially interested in the young ones.



Dieair quickly armed herself with her bow and arrows. But they did nothing to the Splicers. Realizing that shooting them wouldn't help she hurried to help people find cover.

Apparently there was NOTHING they could do at all.

The splicers where suddenly completely immune to fire too. Just got lightly sunburned. Where as the attack Loki orchestrated, they hadn't been.

And also the walls defense's where not there at all. Or the Leroys. Or the built for fighting cars on the ground. The majority just easily got in and are now easily with no resistance at all looking for people.

Apparently none of that worked at all.

The wyverns just shaking off the bites, their dead already the splicers can't turn them into anything. They just kick off the biters or scrape them off or pull them off each other. Flapping away. They will be drawn to Yoshi.

So Shell City was abandoned. Splicers will find several guards and some stragglers that didn't make it into any buildings sadly. Meat melons and donated human meat blobs.

The rest of the citizens, especially children, escaped with Lilo, their eggs, Leo and Erica's babies, Jumba, Leatherhead and visiting O'Hana in the underground tunnels to the repurposed mid sized cruises, tugs and cargo boats the islanders use and getting out. The sirens flooding the tunnels after that to slow any pursuers that might beat there way through down into barricaded tunnel openings.

Save for Mikey he rams the battle shell about shooting donated human meat about. Heading to Dieair and Raphie's place blasting the horn for them to get in. She doesn't have many to guide running about.

He knows they don't want to go with the islanders. Maui joins the fleet once it's in open water to guard it. He, Mikey will make his own way to O'Hana.

After seeing Dieair and Raphie to The Farm.

It saddened Jade to hear that Shen had been so badly injured. She wished that she had stayed out there, maybe the outcome would have been different....but she needed to get the younger inhabitants to safety and offer comfort and reassurance to those who needed it.

She nodded sadly. "Of course I'll watch over her." And she wasn't one hundred percent sure why Shen was upset with Spike, but she herself was still a little irritated over him trying to eat her new little friend. "She'll be well protected. I promise."

Flag was about to head out to assist Troy if he needed it, but just then his vehicle approached the gate and Jesse let him in. Flag climbed down and met him as he hopped out of the vehicle, obviously angry and still a little shaken. Even for someone like Troy who lived for a good adrenaline rush, he knew things could have ended badly.

"It was Danny. He's the one that's been feeding information to Bishop..."

Flag frowned at that. The guy had been helpful around the farm. Obviously he had misjudged his character. "How do you know?" Because they needed to be sure. This was a pretty big accusation.

"He was surrounded by walkers. I tried to help him and he just left me to be ripped apart." Troy replied in annoyance....

That's when Flag noticed it. The right shoulder of Troy's jacket had been ripped open, blood tainting the once white cotton. The adrenaline has masked the pain, Troy was oblivious to the severity of his injury ....

"Were you bit?"

Troy shook his head, but his gaze followed Flag's to the bleeding injury. His anger now muddled with panic, but he was trying to hide it....

"Fuck.."

Rain had watched Troy leave the farm to follow Danny. She would have went with him but he rushed off. Thankfully he was back.

She ran to him and hugged him. But noticed the blood.

You were bit? You need Mikko. I can go get her.

Danny pulled up to the lab and parked. He headed inside not knowing he was going to find Bishop alive and well. But that's what happen.

I thought you were dead. Danny said a little suprised.

Bishop just smiled and nodded. I have precautions for every situation. Even my death. Though the cloning process is flawed. The previous Bishop was feeding me information but I don't know how I died or what I was doing before death. But you can fill me in.

That was wild. Danny knew that Bishop had experiments everywhere in the lab, but it seemed he was even experimenting on himself. That had to be some kind of addiction.

Still Danny would fill him in on the moments before his death. About the dragons and Thorn.

There was a sense of relief and regret when Rain approached. Troy gave her a hug, trying to be reassuring even if he was worried himself....

"Yeah, go get Mikko..." Flag told Rain.

Rain booked it to Mikko and Vic's place. Once there she started banging on the door. Mikko! We need your help!

Inside Mikko was resting peacefully curled up with her man. But the banging on the door snapped her awake. With a groan, she slipped out of bed and put on a bath robe before answeing the door.

What's going on? She asked with a yawn.

Troy went out and got bit! We need you to save him.

Mikko tightened the belt on her robe and walked out the house, following Rain back to Troy and Rick.

It seemed that all hell had broken loose. Raph helped get his nieces and nephews to safety, then joined Dieair with trying to defend their home. It seemed the Splicers had evolved and they weren't making much progress.....

He didn't want to bail, but knew if he stayed behind, Dieair would, too. What if something happened? Sighing heavily, he motioned Dieair towards the vehicle that Mike was driving....

"We gotta go..."

Running from battle was not something Dieair was use to. Victory or death was her motto after all. But the situation was looking hopeless. And she knew that if she stood she would lose. Angered that she couldn't do more to save their home, she went with Raph.

We'll come back. I will not let some monsters take our home so eaisly.

At Shell City Mike shrugs at Dieair. "  One day yeah, Leo planned for something like this to arise eventually. As he has told us all more than once in morning announcements, homes are transitory, WE are the great big moving family." sappy perhaps but honest.

Speaking of Leo he waits until Dieair and Raphie are in, slamming the door.

And flooring it.

Then calling Leo, or Erica, whom ever will pick up.

Leo nods and can see what flits through her mind on her face, " Do not feel bad, Shen gave her all - I didn't know how strong her leaf speak had grown - to protect her brother and The Farm, be proud and thank you, she just needs to be left in nature as undisturbed as possible for hers and others safety until she is ready to emerge... and be proud of yourself too for getting your people here out of sight as soon as possible. Your Uncle Donnie..." his voice shook and he makes no effort to hide it. " your Uncle died... I still cannot believe Death actually stepped in for us." mystified because seriously he thought it had been for only some people. " Gave him another chance... Your Aunt...I .. We... Voice failing again, grief but joy. Relief but loss. What a strange contradiction of emotions. Did he have to finish that to explain what it cost to keep her Uncle here?

Erica picks up, still cuddling Blaze, carefully pressing the speaker phone. " Mikey? Your on speaker with myself, Harley, Blaze and Star." just so he knows. And politely so Harley or Star or Blaze do not think Erica is just rudely answering her phone and ignoring them.

Mike wrote:

Mikey's voice comes over the phone knowing there are young ears listening he keeps his voice collected. " oh hey guys, um I have terrible news, Shell City is over run with Splicers. Good news in the losses are minimal and the majority of the city is evacuated under Leatherhead and Lilos direction and their heading for O'Hana with our precious cargo. All of our precious cargo. I am bringing Dieair and Raphie to the Farm please give Rick a heads up." he explains hurriedly careful to not be graphic or too loud or upset so as not to scare kids but also - " Hiya Harley, hi kiddos."

Erica almost stopped breathing but Mike reassured the precious cargo, her and Leo's babies and his own eggs with Lilo were safe. On their way to O'Hana. Good.

She trusted Lilo and the young Leatherhead both. So relieved and well they figured something like this would happen eventually, there is still some deeeeep anger it had happened. On top of Bishops shenanigans.

Holding the phone and letting others greet Mike and Raphie and Dieair if they wished. " thanks Mikey ... Raphie, Dieair... For everything." she knows they would have done all they damned could.

'You're gonna have to go into quarantine for a couple of days..." Flag told Troy, regretful that the guy would have to be locked up, but he had to keep everyone safe....

The adrenaline was starting to wear off, and the pain making itself known. He felt...sick. his skin hot to the touch and starting to bead with sweat. And Flag mentioned quarantine....

"Locked up? But I'm needed on the tower..."

Flag patted his good shoulder. "We'll take care of it. You're gonna need rest. Trust me."

Just then Rain returned with Mikko and Troy spared a half smile. Part of him had been afraid that she wouldn't want to help him after he exposed Thorn, figuring the Vampires and Werewolves banded together...

"So, who bites who?"

Vic wanted to go with Mikko, but figured he needed to stay back and watch the kids in case they woke.

A grin stretched over Mikko's face at Troy's question.

Kinky. But I think we should head to the infirmary and let them hook us up to a transfusion. It's better than biting each other.

She placed a hand on Troy's back and lead him and Rain to the infirmary.

Oh my god! Troy you look horrible. Sherry said when spotting the group walking in. She took Troy's hand and laid him in a bed.

He was bit we need to give him some of my blood. Mikko explained.

Sherry gave a nod and sat Mikko beside Troy's bed. She hooked them both up to IVs and soon the transfer started.

Try not to eat everyone ok? My blood effects everyone a little differently if you're one of the lucky ones you'll get some cool fangs.

River perked up a little when Wade mentioned getting her a furry pet! Her frown turned into a smile. "Something furry like Ghost, Thorn and Sam's wolf?" She really missed playing with the wolf, but now that the animal was older, Flag was afraid that it may attack the kids. Thorn and Sam had been doing a great job of keeping her contained, but for how long?

Harley didn't think the phone call was rude at all, and hearing the severity of what had happened at Shell City caused her to frown, but like Mike on the speaker phone, masked how upsetting it really was. Shell City was probably the best secured community, and the Splicers had still breached it....

Blaze was too young to know what was going on, but was happy to hear Mikey's voice!

"Hi Mikey! Hi Die... Waph!"

Star understood a little, but the adults level of composure aided in keeping her calm, too. "Hi, everyone." It seemed they were about to have more company. But...would the Splicers come here, too?

Sure! Let me just call my honey. Wade gave a shout, calling his girlfriend to them. At first nothing happened. Wade was worried that Death wouldn't show, He had just promised River a pet and now Death wouldn't even make an aperance. But then black smoke appeared and Death stepped out.

Wade gave her a hug burying his face in her chest.

Death rolled her eyes. What do you need, Wade?

Wade pulled away with a smile. Right! River here would love a furry friend. The animals here are deadly but I was hoping you could get her something from somewhere else.

Death thought on that for a moment and took a hard look at River. She then vanished. Wade looked over at River. I'm sure she'll be back.

ANd sure enough a few moments later Death returned. In her arms was a one eyed, black and white kitten. She handed the creature over to River.

Have an adorable demon. straight from hell. It's friendly. Wont grow any bigger, doesn't need to eat and doesn't use the bathroom. Very low mantince. All it needs is lots of cuddles and love.

Troy headed to the infirmary with Mikko and Rain, sparing a weak grin at Sherry when she mentioned how terrible he looked. "Well surely I look better than the splicers, yeah?" He winked, making light of the situation if only for Rain's sake. He was in pain, the infection burning through his body, but he was hopeful that Mikko's blood would save him.

He was soon laying back on the bed and hooked up to Mikko, her blood equally as painful as it entered his veins, but he masked it well.


'Fangs, huh? Well maybe I'll get so lucky. It's no secret Thorn wants to rip me apart. Maybe if I have chompers too I'll stand more of a chance."

Rain sat on the other side of Troy holding his hand. She kissed his knuckles.

Fangs would be sexy. But you and Thorn should really talk things out. I know you were trying to help the farm, but Thorn seems like a changed guy from what you know. We all have a past.

Rain was right. They all had a past, and Troy's wasn't so clean, either. The Reapers compound had been bad for everyone.

"Thorn doesn't strike me as the conversation type...but maybe we can bury the hatchet..." And he looked at Mikko.

"He's your people. Think he's gonna go all werewolf on me if I try? He''s hot headed even on his best days."

Mikko's blood was helping ease the previous discomforts, but he was in fact feeling hungry...really hungry...and as Mikko warned him, fangs pushed through his gums, replacing his canines..
