Laz leaned down and pressed a few playful kisses against both her cheeks, then did the same to little Kai.

I shall make you a meal fit for a queen.

And with that promise he headed out the room and to the kitchen. The first thing he did was make a cup of coco for her. With that done he went back and handed it to her. As an appaitizer of sorts. With another attack of smooches he again hurried out and went to cooking something.

Luckily he was use to cooking being that he never had a girl around to cook for him. And like Mikko he was able to find usfulness in things and make some interesting stuff.

So, pancakes were on the menu. as was Ramin noodles that he was going to fry and make an egg sandwich with. yeah this was some food network challange shit here.

It was amusing how into the show Wade was getting. She let out a small chuckle when the couple stopped and Glenn had to make sure Maggie was ok. But soon they were back in the swing of things.

They're back at it. farm girl likes it rough it seems.

She leaned down and gave Wade another deep kiss.

Hungry? She asked lightly ran her nails down his chest. I can cook us up something.

Yer staying with me so I can make sure you're safe and not with some mad man. and we're visiting Wade because he's my friend and I haven't talked to him in a few days. since he's hooked up with his girl, that's all he's been doing.

Gambit walked them to the elevators. Bruce said they worked but were kinda iffy. There was no other way to the upper floors with the chair though. So they would have to take a chance.

the doors opened with a ding and Gambit wheeled Mel inside.

Diana had spent her time out hunting. Knowing that the mall did not have adequate nutrition for everyone. she also wanted to get out of the mall and spend some time on her own. Nothing much was going on there, no threats, that she knew of.

When she did arrive back at the mall, she took to the back entrance. Over her shoulders she held a large wild boar she had spent hours tracking. She also noted that someone had snagged a deer, though was unsure as to why they would leave it out and not bring it in to prepare. But she wouldn't touch it as it was not her kill to mess with.

Once inside she made it to the hotel's large kitchen.

She had already drained the body of it's fluids out in the woods far from where they were. She placed the beast on the large butcher block. The large pig didn't quite fit but Diana made due and quickly got to work, skinning and butchering the creature which she then planed to hand out to the residents of the mall.

Eugene was seriously confused. Did he say something offensive? Obviously, that was the case. Mikko had gotten up and had left the apartment. Thinking back on his words, he realized that what he had said could have been taken the wrong way. It certainly wasn't his intention, and now he felt bad.


Now, what to do? Maybe she would be better off if he found his own room. As much as he wanted to rejoin his family, he was not yet ready to face Glenn after leaving his friend to die. But.. judging by that video and knowing that his and Maggie's little sexcapades could sometimes go all day, he knew Glenn wasn't back yet. And, he would eventually have to face him. Would have to apologize for being such a coward.


He knew Mikko was going through a loss of sorts and, he wanted to be here for her. He knew she had a condition, and that didn't matter. She was still his friend. And she was obviously upset. He needed to make sure she was okay, then... he would attempt to find his family.



Finally pushing himself up from the couch, he headed out of the apartment, closing the door behind him. Having no idea what direction she had left in, he set about looking for her, hoping she was still in the building....

Mikko made it down to the lobby and was going to head out but...She really didn't feel like walking around out there. She didn't feel like doing anything. She didn't even want to eat anymore. Not talk to anyone. See anyone. Eat anyone. She just wanted to not exist. So she headed to the store that had all those stuffed animals.

It was right next to the stairs by the hotel. So the pretty much the first shop you came to once leaving the hotel.

Inside she marveled at all the animals. And the giant ones. She didn't know they even made plushes that big.

She found a nice little spot close to the front of the store where she could still see out the store window into the lobby. She started to build up a sort of cave using the stuffed animals until she had created herself a nice hobbit hole with sheets, plushes and other things found around the store.

She climbed inside her new little plush hut and laid down to try and figure out what to do with herself. She was thinking of leaving the mall and heading back to the city. she was doing fine there. No drama. No heart aches. Only herself to worry about...

She pulled a blanket over herself and closed her eyes even though no sleep would come.

Daryl squeezed her tightly, pressing a kiss against the top of her head. "There ain't nothin' to be sorry about. None of that's your fault, Beth. And your sister and Glenn are okay, I promise. I noticed Bruce's sports car gone out of the garage, so chances are he caught up to Maggie and they're on their way back. Everything's going to be okay.." He assured her, giving another tight squeeze. And he hoped that he was right. But one thing was for certain, Beth had nothing to be sorry for. "And Negan will pay for what he did. His days are numbered."



And finally, he released her. Though, he hated to leave her here by herself, but if he could find Carl, he would send him back to be with her. "I'll be back with them soon... just keep an eye on Judith." With that, he headed out of the room, closing the door behind him.

Beth nodded but she still felt like all this was her fault. It was the butterfly effect and it started with her. She finally released her grip on Daryl and again gave him a nod. it was all she could do, she knew if she spoke she would only end up breaking down again and she needed to keep calm for Judith. even though the little girl was sleeping, she could pick up quickly on something that was wrong and wake.

when Daryl was gone and Beth was once again alone in the quiet home she pulled a thick blanket over herself, covering her head with only her face uncovered.

Then once again waited...For someone...Anyone...To come back safely home.

And Carl was grateful that Michonne wasn't giving him embarrassing safe sex advice. Instead, she told him something sweet, and something he would take to heart. Even though he had never been so free with his feelings, Beth had a way with him. Just as Michonne did. They were able to get past his walls.



"I'll remember that." He told her, sparing her a small smile. The snow was coming down harder now and the temperature had dropped. He knew Michonne was out here for him and still not a hundred percent well, and she didn't need to be out in this. Even though he had not asked her to come, he didn't want her to get sick. And, he could come back at a later time.


"I guess we should head back." He told her, finally pushing himself up. "Unless.... you need to talk to him...I can give you some privacy if you want..."

Hearing that she didn't feel well caused Pete to panic. Giving her a squeeze, he shook his head and without warning, scooped her up and carried her back to the bedroom, placing her in bed. He tucked the covers around her and leaned in, pressing a kiss against her forehead.


'No, I'll worry about the mess. You just rest..." He pulled her against him, rocking her gently. "What's wrong? Do you need to go to the infirmary? "

It was good to see Carl smile. She returned the grin and when he stood so did she and brushed her jeans off.

Not now. It's getting cold, and...I don't think I'm ready to be out in another snow storm. But I'll be back here soon. Lets head back and get your bunny friend some food.

she turned away from the grave and started to head away with Carl. The dark hooded woman who had been casually watching them floated closer to the grave. Death looked back at the visitors then bent down placing her hand on the snow covered mound a single, fully bloomed, deep purple rose sprouted from the ground and stood at proudly against the weather as Death faded from sight.

Gwen didn't protest being carried back to bed, she couldn't if she wanted to. She had a fever, her stomach was hurting and even though she hadn't ate all she felt like she had to do was throw up. She was trying to think back on what she had ate, but pete wasn't sick so it couldn't be anything they ate.

When asked if she need to see a doctor she reluctantly nodded.

Yeah...I think I should see someone. Just in case.

She didn't want to say it. But maybe the wolf pup brought something in that caused her to get sick.

And the show resumed, and Wade couldn't be happier with how things were going. "Oh yeah, give her that egg roll, boi! Cowgirl needs her field plowed!"


When V leaned in, he returned the kiss, playfully running his fingers up her sides. "Starving. So. How do you feel about having a threesome with the Asian?" He asked, teasing... or was he? It all depended on her answer. He would have suggested the Farmer's daughter, but he was a happily married man.. another woman may ruin that and cause jealousy.



"Just one rule.. he can't touch you... but you can touch him....remember International Women's Day??"

'V' was amused by his reaction to the porn on TV and it was clear that he was well aware that they were the people in the mall. Well if it didn't bother him that was good. Then his questions about threesomes came up and she mounted him, straddling his hips and looked down at him as she blocked his view of the TV.

Yeah...I guess I could go for that. And she could make it happen too. Oh poor Glenn...Could she really kill two relationships? Of course she could!

Then he mentioned something about woman's day. Clearly there was some significance to the day for him and Vanessa. But as hard as she tried. she couldn't tap into what the hell it was. So she smiled and leaned down and kissed him again.

She then slipped off of him and tried to hurry to the kitchen incase he wanted to reminisce about that day.

" If you say so Gambit and I'm surprised Mikko is still alive after getting bit no one survives except if you have a healing factor I guess." Mel replied as she was taken into an elevator. Still she didn't feel completely safe at the mall among her survivor's guilt.

Well she does have a healing factor...Of sorts. He told Mel and pushed the button on the elevator. She has Wade's healing working for her. Eh...Best not to go into detail with that. But...yeah he's pretty much been keeping her from turning. Crazy how no one seems to have figured that one out by now.

Because not even Mikko had come to that conclusion. but Gambit didn't know that Mikko and Wade weren't together anymore and some other way of keeping the virus under control needed to be found.

The doors to the elevator closed and up they went. Up. Up. Then stop. Then nothing happen. The light in the elevator turned off and the emergency red light came on.

That's not a good sign...

" No it's not boost me out of this thing Gambit I might be able to get the doors open from there. My legs may be shot but I'm not useless." The teen told him her idea looking up to the emergency hatch.

And it didn't take Eugene long to find her. He approached the plushie fort and stood near the entrance, not blocking it... not wanting to seem intrusive.


"I'm sorry if I offended you. It was not my intention. I do believe their is a communication error between us..." And perhaps that had something to do with their age difference. Or the different speeds they were going in all this. He couldn't rush it, and she couldn't slow down.


"You shouldn't have to leave your home because of me. If you wish for me to leave, I will."

Mikko gave a sigh and untangled herself from the blanket. She crawled out of the hut and stood up to face Eugene. She was looking a little paler. But other then that she simply looked annoyed. But it wasn't with him. It was with herself.

But finally a smile did spread over her face and she gave him a soft pat on his cheek.

No I don't want you to leave. I like your company. I was offended a bit, yes. I was offended that you seem to think little of me. But like you said, there was probably a miscommunication somewhere, so. My bad. Anyway, you really don't seem like the kinda guy that would just go around insulting people.

She gave him a hug and squeezed him then let him go.

I think it's best we just stay as friends. You and I are very different people. So..I guess you were right. Now lets not talk about this again and go find your friends.

She walked passed him and headed to the shops door.

I'll show you where I think they are staying. I know the floor they are in at least.

Gambit pulled out his staff once again and started to try and jam it between the doors to pry them open.

You just sit there. If we're lucky maybe Kurt will come along and hear the noice and bamf us out of here.

" Hello elevator escape hatch at the top of the elevator box. Ever watch Terminator 2?" She snarked at him wondering how he didn't know that. Adults could be so clueless at times.

No I didn't see that one. But I understood what you were talking about. So once you get up there, then what? There's no place to go. You can't open the doors from the top of the elevator.

Gives up trying to get the doors open and hits the latch opening it up.

Least we can get some air in here.

Eugene was glad she understood, though, it didn't seem that she understood entirely. "I do not think little of you. That is completely inaccurate and based on personal assumptions but- as the saying is inclined to go 'Assume is to make an ass out of you and me'..." And he returned the hug, only releasing when she did, and gave a nod when she friend zoned him. That.. he was used to.

Then, she informed him that she had a good idea of the floor his family were on. For the first time in a long time, he felt hopeful... "Lead the way....."

Mikko stopped walking and turned to look at him. Unlike others who might be able to conceal the fact that they were on the verge of tears, she was now cursed with colorful tears. So when she faced him it was obvious from the red drops at the corner of her eyes that she was upset. But she did smile.

Incredible uh? boy. You give more mixed Signals then anyone else I ever known. And I have no idea what zone Peas live in. Is that a science thing? Anyway...

She turned back around and reached out to take his hand then lead him to the floor this group was on.

Once at the floor she noted where Peter and Gwen where staying. So took a guess at where his people where from there.

" You could slip through and use your powers on the doors above us. Not a huge explosion just enough for us to slip through because I don't want to be stuck in this thing." Mel replied with another idea.
