New Beginnings *6 years later* (December)

Maggie took a hold of her child and Michonne ordered the other children to leave the house quickly. Sandy grabbed Noah's hand and told him what Michonne had ordered and that they all had to get out of there though with the fire it was pretty obvious.

Maggie lead the kids out to ground level. She spotted the roadblade and wanted so badly to get the kids to the vehicle. But she didn't know how without putting them in danger.

Laz fought his way out of being tied up and jumped down from the house. He rolled and landed on his back out of breath. He needed to get up but he was running out of strength.

Sherry held Abby close gun at the ready. When the closet door opened and she spotted the man she shot him in the head. But seeing and smelling the think smoke she knew they had to get out of there. Sherry pushed Abby out of the closet and moved her to the window to climb out of. They were going to have to jump.

Gabe stumbled back, trying to keep out of Negan's reach. He stumbled, but Daryl was quick to jump him from behind....

But the struggle was short lived. The saviors had Daryl in their sights, ordering him to his knees, and announcing to Negan they had captives...


At first, the gunshot startled Dwight, but when the mdidn't return, he knew that Sherry had taken a chance. He could only hope that she and Abby could escape the community undetected.

Simon swore under his breath and roughly tugged Dwight out and into the cold, shoving him to his knees in front of Negan.

"I got something for ya! "

Negan was ready for a fight but was glad when his men came out to stop Daryl. He was even happer when Simon tossed Dwight in front of him. He took his bat from on his men that had been holding it for him and pointed it at Gabe.

Grab him too. Line em all up. and who ever is in that armored vehicle better come out as well.

By now the whole town was on fire but it didn't faze Negan, he still had plans for treetop.

SHerry helped Abby out the window then she jumped down into the snow after. Being careful she dragged Abby along the fence line and stuck her in a bush. Stay here. Don't move. She told the girl.

She then left to try to save her husband. Using the smoke as cover she spotted Dwight, Negan and Simon. There were others. IF she got closer she would get caught. But she would also get a clear shot of Negan. From where she was now she only had a good shot of Simon. She only had one chance to get this shot. Once she fired it would alert everyone to where she was.

She aimed for the back of SImon's head and pulled the trigger.

"Dammit, Laz!!" Lexi screamed, but it had fallen on deaf ears. She wanted to go after him, but an upset Kai clung to her....

..and then Laz was on the ground. Lexi frantically tried to usher him back in as more men approached...

The Saviors were quick to restrain and tie Gabriel's wrists behind his back, forcing him to his knees beside Dwight...

He knew what was about to go down...and there was kids that would witness it all...

"Don't make the kids watch this, man. You got us, let them go..."

..the shot hit it's mark, blood splattering everyone close as the bullet ripped through Simon's skull, dropping him instantly.

Surprisingly Negan agreed with Gabe. The kids didn't need to be there. He pulled one of his female solders out of the group. Take the kids to Sanctuary. We'll deal with them all later.

The lady nodded and and started to gather up the kids but the children wouldn't go quietly. Sandy kicked the woman in the knee and some of the other kids followed her example fighting back. Maggie also wasn't going to let them go so eaisly.

Then Simon was shot freezing everyone in there in place.

Negan watched as his right hand man fell dead to the ground.

Well shit.

SOme of the houses started to fall to the ground behind the group. Looks like we got to get this party started now before everything falls apart.


Laz managed to get up and pull Lexi back to the roadblade shoving her inside. Stay in here!

Judith remained quiet for awhile, not arguing with Mikko that Eugene would need to be dealt with. The community was burning to the ground, and Wugene would pose little threat in the thick of things...

"I have to go free the prisoners. You can come, or... stay with...him. But we do have to go back and help the others." With that, she stood and headed off in the direction of the prison.

Mikko was going to go with Judith but worried about the others. There wasn't any of Negan's men around the area they were in so Judith should be fine getting the prisoners herself and she decided if all the others needed help.

Getting closer to the group she saw that the others were indeed in need of help. People were on there knees in front of Negan. Negan's men had them out numbered. The town was burning to the ground. She honestly didn't know what she could do.

It was when she witnessed Negan raising his bat that she acted.

She rushed at Negan from behind. A few of his men spotted her and shot at her. the bullets ripped through her but she ignored them and leaped on Negan's back sinking her teeth in his neck and ripping a large chunk of flesh off him before being shot in the head.

The head shot took her out but she wouldn't be staying down for long.


Negan let out a scream and grabbed his wounded neck.

FUCK! FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK!

Stitch ignored Negan's orders beeping the horn again over the mans voice. And Lilo taking a moment to point out the important thing of what she said to Laz. " Risk... I said risk not will..."


Because full disclosure and what not.


And she rolls her eyes at Negan. She rotates the blades guns choosing the one that literally ripped bodies apart. Especially at this close range, she demonstrates with Simons body before it becomes a zombie. Hopefully to remind some of the Saviours to get lost whilst they could before she turns the range on the living. Ignoring Negan still and the drama with Mikko but immensely enjoying his squealing. " Tree Toppers, Stitch has commandeered the truck."


And waiting to see in Laz would get back in revving the Blades engine.


The announcement about the truck mostly for whoever has the kids and prisoners... other injured to get in.

When Mikko attacked Negan and took a large bite out of him it took his men by surprise. This gave Maggie a chance to pick up a large log and hit the woman that was trying to take the kids over the head sending her to the ground.

Quickly lets go.

She told the kids and gathered them all up still holding on to Logan.

She lead them to the Roadblade and started to quickly push them all inside. She handed Logan to Lexi and one everyone was inside she closed the doors.

She herself stood outside the vehicle to continue to try to save the others.

It seemed that Negan's tactic to mentally debilitate him with the murder of Beth had worked. Carl had been in no condition to put a plan in motion, but that wouldn't spare him of blaming himself. They should have acted, but it was too late, now. And Eugene's hard work had been in vein. The community had gone up in flames...

Now, they were at the mercy of the enemy. Hands bound and helpless. Mikko made an appearance, and more chaos that would momentarily work in their favor...

Hands tied, he struggled to reach his boot, trying to not draw attention to himself. The Saviors had failed to realize that he had a boot knife stashed away...

Glenn could only watch on helplessly as Maggie made her move, knowing too much fuss would alert the saviors to her doings. The kids were now safe, and that was a huge relief....but then she didn't get into the vehicle. His frantic gaze fixated in her direction, silently conveying the urgency he felt, a quiet plea for her to remove herself from danger!


Negan was flailing like a madman...the Saviors were in a state of momentary panic. Dwight was becoming weak from the bloodless, but it would not stop him from making a move. Using Negan's state of distraction, he rolled into him, attempting to knock the enemy off his feet...

Dwights actions caught Negan off guard and knocked him flat on his back. With Simon dead and Negan bitten the other Saviors weren't sure what to do and some started to back away.

Mikko woke and picked herself up causing more concern. She grabbed a piece of wood that was on fire and attacked the nearest savior.

Maggie met up with Sherry and they both attempted to take out as many as they could their goal to untie the captives.

No one was getting in the truck... Lilo couldn't fit any more in the road blade...


She hopes to motivate the Saviours, roaring the engine of the Blade and shooting again. Not aiming to kill if they ran, threatening with the blades gun again shooting at one of the men not aiming to kill but hey if the sight of the dead body being blown into a bloody mess maybe the sight of one of theirs losing a leg or arm might?




Stitch drives closer tot he blade, Maggie could not direct any more into the blade, she'd have to get them into the truck now.

For a bit there everything was going their way. Treetop was burning to the ground, they had most everyone tied up on their knees, Negan was about to put the hammer down so to speak. But shit hit the fan real quick and the tables turned.

First Mikko attacked. SHe was taken out but not quick enough. Not only that but even being shot in the head didn't keep her down! Negan was bit and the Saviors weren't sure what to do about that. Was he infected? What was Mikko? Would Negan turn into...something?

Then there was the Roadblade. They were unable to take controle of it and now it was firing at them!

This caused most of the Saviors to retreat because fuck that! A few more brave and stupid ones shot back.

Negan was now on the ground, no one was paying attention to the captives. It was total madness!

Lilo sure hoped those in the blade are at least enjoying watching some of the saviours run. She had to shake the others before their return shots put too many holes in the armoured but not impervious blade. She places Leo's hurryingly terrifying angry m p three roar on the sound system.


If one didn't know the context of the roar they couldn't know it came from a fair minded, honourable if massive and master ninja blade wielding mutant turtle who'd just claimed an entire territory for his own six years ago. It didn't matter, all that mattered was that she encouraged the stragglers to flee after their comrades! AlphaRoar


She hoped it didn't cause the tree toppers to try fleeing to... though she could see Stitch climbing onto the truck and was reasonably assured he'd bring runners back.

Abby stayed in the bush as she was told to. She didn't want to stay there she wanted to be with the others she wanted to know what was going on!

As she sat in the bush shivering in the cold a little squirrel ran up to her and Abby smiled at the critter. She reached down her hand to it and the animal returned the move by biting her hand drawing blood then running off.

She quickly pulled her hand back and noticed that the squirrel was coming back.

Abby stood up and kicked at the animal that went to bite her again.

Clearly the bush wasn't safe so she hurried out of there holding on to her bleeding hand. She followed the sound of all the noise back to the roadeblade and knocked on the door to be let in.

I got bit by an animal! She told them and showed her hand.

Laz was running low on energy but was still determined to help the others. His vision was getting blury but through the blur he made his way to Gabe and was able to untie him. Breathing heavy and no longer able to stand Laz stood on his knees after freeing Gabe and tried to catch his breath.

His head was buzzing. Everything sounded so far away.

He looked back at the Roadeblade that held his wife and kids and wondered if he would talk with them again.

Then everything went black and he fell to the ground out cold.

Gabriel had overheard Abby, and instantly remembered the buck in the woods...and instantly knew the animal that had bitten Abby was infected. Because no unhealthy animal would brave the sounds of war....


Laz freed him, then collapsed. Frantically trying to revive him, gaze shifting towards the roadblade...."Animals can carry the virus!!" He called out, trying to get Laz to his feet.


Everything was chaotic. Even for the Saviors. With Negan down and possibly infected, it raised a lot of unasked questions. But, there was a possibility that Negan was not infected, and they had a job to do.

Arat, one of Negan's higher ups decided to step up to the plate. Grabbing Dwight, she roughly shocked him back onto his knees.

[b]"You people brought this on yourselves. Idiots, and you give sanctuary to traitors!" Taking Negan's bat, she shoved the tip hard into Dwight's already bleeding chest...but the woman knew the honor of carrying out the public execution belonged to Negan.


Helping the leader to his feel, she reunited him with Lucille ...

NEgan thanked Arat and took his bat back. Least not everyone was chicken shit. He wanted to make this last but now that everything had gone to hell there was no time to savor the kill.

Negan swung his bat at Dwight aiming for his head. After he was done with Dwight he would move on to Gabe who he hadn't noticed was freed yet.

He also didn't know that Carl was in the act of freeing himself Or that Mikko was getting ready to attack again.

Abby was bit, Laz was down, Dwight was in trouble. Mikko went to Laz first since there was nothing she could do to help Abby. The girl got bit it was only a matter of time before she turned and Sherry was moving in to help Dwight.

So she went to Laz to see if he was still alive. The man was breathing but barely.

We got to get him in your truck. There's no more room in the Roadblade. She told Gabe. We need to bring him to the turtle's community if he's going to live.

Maggie was able to get to Glenn and started to untie his ropes. We have to get out of here. The kids are in the Roadblade we need to get in the truck and leave. she said as she worked on the ropes.

Dwight knew that his end was near, but the fear he felt was not for himself. He worried for the others, especially Sherry and Abby. He hoped they made it out of this safely. Chaos was happening all around them, but that was not detouring Negan from making an example out of him...

His heart beat irratcally within the confines of his chest as the bat was drawn back.. he tried to shift to avoid or lessen the blow, but his injuries and bloodless slowed him....

The bat smashed hard against the right side of his head, fracturing his skull, the barbed wire mutilating his skin, forming angry gashes that bled profusely....

The immense pain was crippling, the hit stunning...disorienting...his vision faultering. Blood poured from his nose and mouth, staining the snow in front of him...


Still, he did not go down. He remained upright on his knees, breathing heavy...knowing the killing blow was soon to come. But he would give Negan one last inconvenience before the enemy would take his life from him...

Mustering up what strength he could, he made eye contact with the monster that he had once reluctantly served. The man that had taken so much from him and his wife. The hatred reflecting in his bloodshot, dying eyes.....

...and he spat a mouthful of blood laden spit and mucus from draining sinuses directly into Negan's face....


"Fuck....you."

Negan expected Dwight to go down with the first hit and was suprised when the man stood upright. Then his face was covered in Dwight's blood. He stepped back and used his shirt to wipe his face off cursing as he did so.

When Negan looked back up he spotted Sherry going to Dwight and grabbed a hold of her.

Before I kill you maybe I'll make you watch your wife die first! Negan spat as he held on to Sherry by her hair.

Carl could only watch on in horror as everything went on. Dwight had just taken a hit that could have been fatal, but remained on his knees. And now Sherry was in danger. He was the leader. His group depended on him to keep them safe, but he had ket them down...

Cutting frantically at his restraints, his efforts were finally awarded when the last rope gave way, sliding down his bruised wrists...

Fortunately most of the Saviors were too distracted with Dwight and Sherry's execution to notice that he was now free...

He needed to act before that changed. Knife in his right hand he rushed at Negan, adrenalin pumping and masking most of the pain as a bullet ripped through his side...and then another ripped through his back, between his shoulder blades....

...but that would not stop him. His full weight slammed into the back of Negan as bodies collided and his left arm wrapped around the man's neck in a choke hold....

With an angry cry, Carl plunged his knife deep into Negan's chest....

Negan was too focused on Dwight and Sherry to notice Carl, until it was too late.

Before he could react to the choke hold he felt the pain in his chest. The knife pierced Negan's heart and the man let out a sharp gasp, blood trickling from his mouth.

Sherry now free quickly untied Dwight and tried to help him to his feet.

Gabriel gave a nod at Mikko. Now more than ever, he was glad that he had installed that camper hull onto the bed of his truck. At least it would guard the passengers in the back of the harsh snow...


Flagging Stitch down in the truck, he helped Mikko load Laz into the back of the vehicle...

"Tell Stitch to go ahead and get these out of here, back to his community. I'll find another vehicle and round up more...you should go with them...."

Seeing Laz situation had Lexi in a panic! But with the vehicle moving and children clinging to her, she could not get to him and it was breaking her heart!! She had heard Gabe, and tried to turn her full attention to her injured hand, seeing the flesh around the injury had already begun to show signs of the infection...


"We...we need a saw...." She told Lilo, trying to keep the panic from her tone. Unfortunately there wouldn't be enough time to give the child a sedative or pain blocker before springing into action....

Glenn had to look away from the carnage, still, he could hear every gutwrenching detail. When Maggie freed him, he wrapped his arms around her, taking a moment for a quick hug and a kiss against the cheek before taking the knife from her...


"Get to the truck. I'm going to free Michonne and Daryl, then I will be right behind you!"

With that, he rushed to Michinne, cutting her free, then Daryl....
