Hollow Heroes [Open to all]

It was hard to see in the dark trailer, but Beth's eyes were slowly becoming ajusted to the darkness. She watched Erica move to sit by herself and moved away from Michonne to sit with her.

Are you ok? We're just worried because laughing isn't usually the response people have to knowing they are being brought to a community to be eaten. We are just worried that maybe you aren't handling things well. Which is totally reasonable!

Beth was going to say more but the door to the trailer opened back up and a few of the bigger sized men came in and grabbed the girls roughly, leading them back out.

Alright, we're ready for ya. Lets go!

Lucky for Carl and Maggie Negan wasn't paying attention to the monitors. He had learned that Abaddon was no longer in her bedroom. Her window was open, but due to the falling snow the foot prints she had left behind were long gone. He wasn't panic about her missing he had no doubt that she was somewhere in the town and simply hiding. It would be the first time she had done such a thing and he would make sure it was her last. He didn't even consider that she might have ran off with Daryl or Dwight.

He checked around a few houses that he knew she would go to often. But no one had seen her.

He then went through the barn and even the chicken coop, but she wasn't there either.

Then he made his way to the infirmary. She would hang out in there when there was patents. Negan figured it would be good for her to learn a few first aid treatments. But this time when he got there he found the door lock. That was strange, instead of knocking, he used his own key to quietly unlock the door and open it up. He was not expecting what he walked into.

Lawrence had his dick so deep in Glenn they could have been one person.

What. The. Fuck!? He yelled making his presence known.

Lawrence stopped all movement for a second and then quickly pulled out and got his pants back on as he tried to ramble out an excuse to what was happening.

Negan wasn't having his bullshit though. There was a lot of shit that the man didn't care about. Lawrence being gay, Negan didn't care. But raping his own patent? That was fucked up even for him. even if it was an enemy, there was just some lines you didn't cross!

As Lawrence was begging for mercy Negan pulled out his pistol and shot the doctor in the head, taking him out in a single shot.

He then covered Glenn's body up and took the gag ring out of his mouth. Disgusting. I'm really sorry about all this. I'll bring you in some new cloths. and for once he really was sorry.

Tell ya what. To make it up to you. I'll let you see your wife before I ship you off.

Glenn had struggled and fought, but the situation was completely hopeless. The torture went on for what felt like an eternity with no end in sight. Even getting sick wasn't enough to detour his attacker... even as he aspirated and choked... all that mattered to the Demon was his need for pleasure. The need to hurt someone...


...He knew the world was full of monsters. Still, he tried to see the good in those still living. But this. It gave a violent shove towards losing trust in humanity...


Lawrence, while Glenn didn't trust him from the beginning, seemed incapable of something like this. Intelligent and seemingly compassionate. But it all been one big lie. He had been waiting for his moment, and sadly it was presented all too easily....


Still trying to overcome the blood loss gave small moments of relief as he blacked out several times. All of the fighting and struggling and trying to plead completely draining. Sadly, the little breaks from reality were never long, and he was completely aware....



Glenn's bloodshot eyes trailed in the direction of the door when he heard it open, then the loud, unmistakable voice of their enemy. Finally, the attack stopped and Lawrence began trying to 'explain'....


The 'why' Negan would even care was completely lost to him. He felt sick again, gagging and coughing from the vomit that had made it into his lungs. Mouth bleeding from the ring cutting into his tongue and the delicate soft tissue of his mouth...


A gunshot... and he was spayed with his attacker's blood...


Trying to make sense of the fact that Negan just killed one of his followers, he tried to jerk away when the Savior's leader covered him with a blanket, then removed the gag. Then, there was an apology....


It would have seemed sincere to most, and ...maybe he meant it. But Glenn could not let himself believe that. Not after everything Negan had done to them. Why would he genuinely care if one of his men had raped him?


He was already trying to plan out an escape once the restraints were off. If he could just reach that scalpel that rested on the medical table. It would be no match for a gun, but better than nothing. There was the promise of clothes, then... the offer that made him forget about his determination to make a run for it. He was going to take him to Maggie....

Finally, the tears that he had kept at bay burned at the backs of his eyes....

Glenn could probably use a bath too. That was more out of courtesy for the Terminus group then for Glenn. He radioed in to one of the females to bring in cloths. And told another to have a bucket of warm soap water and a sponge ready down in the cellar. Maggie could take care of the washing. He wasn't dealing with that shit.

Hang tight. Cloths are coming. Then they'll be some means to clean yourself off.


He did lift the blanket enough to check on Glenn's wounds and make sure he was still stitched together. Seeing that he was, he titled the head of the bed up so that Glenn wasn't laying flat on his back.

It took a little bit, but a female. Around her mid 30's came in carrying jeans and a long sleeve shirt

We're about to play a little trust game. I unstrap you from this bed, let you get dress, you don't try to run off. You do, I kill you and your unborn. Leave Maggie alive to deal with it all. We understand each other?

Negan's behavior was odd to him. He wanted them all to suffer. He knew it. After what he had done to both Maggie and Beth... but had intervened when one of his men did it to him...


All that mattered was, he would get to see Maggie again. Feel her arms around him. That's what he needed more than anything, and for some reason, Negan was granting him that. Was... he lying? Was he playing with his already shattered emotions?



The pain was excruciating. It felt like needles were now piercing his lungs as he tried to cough up the intrusive fluids. He was still unaware of how badly bloodied and bruised his wrists and ankles had became due to all of his struggling. The only thing that mattered, the only thing that drove him was the promise of seeing her..


..even if it was a lie, he could not afford to not believe in it right now....


Finally, the woman arrived with the clean clothes and handed them to Negan. Desperate to see Maggie again, Glenn tried to reach for them, but realized that he was still restrained...


"I'm ...I'm not going to ...run..." He managed through wheezing breaths.

And it linger for a long while, tongue lightly massaging hers. For the moment, forgetting the horrible situation  they were in. He only let up when he was certain they both needed to breathe. Not that he would be taking any massive inhale in this house of horror...


Gaze meeting hers, a small grin slowly tugged across his lips.



"I hope that was satisfactory and met expectations of a kiss from a guy with a mullet..."

Good. This lovely lady is Saber. One of my finest warriors. I'm going to leave you two. She will bring you to Maggie after you're dress and what not. I personally don't wish to see any more of you then I already have. Plus my daughter is missing. kids right? They never stay where you tell them to. Yeah his attitude towards Glenn right now was very different from the norm. If he had walked in on just some guy raping Glenn or even some woman, he probably wouldn't have cared that much. It was the fact that this was a trusted doctor that sent Negan over the edge.

He unstrapped Glenn's hands and then left the room for Saber to handle the rest.

She had a large automatic riffle strapped to her. Her very long black hair was tied in two long braids, she wore a green tank top and camo pants, army boots and dog tags around her neck. Clearly she had been part of the military at some point.

Once Negan was gone she took Glenn's straps off his legs, handed him his cloths and turned her back to him facing the door, blocking it. They might be a little big on you. She said. she a slight Japanese accent. There will be soap water and cloth waiting for you in the cellar...

Wiggling and twisting, there was finally a tiny 'click' and a huge smile stretched across Carl's face. Unfortunately it was that very moment when he heard the cellar door open, then soft footsteps make their descent. Cursing beneath his breath, the teen left the lock in its 'locked' position, hoping that whomever it was wouldn't get close enough to test it.


A young woman with fiery red hair made an appearance with a bucket full of soapy water, complete with sponge. Carl watched with confusion as she placed it close to the door, then knelt where Maggie had been working at the bar. She did not seem to mind that the woman was trying to escape. She understood. Her soft green eyes met Maggie's as she slipped the sponge in between the bars.


"skyblue]"For yours. You will understand soon."

When the kiss ended Mikko was all smiles. She nuzzled against his cheek and pressed a kiss there. It was the perfect kiss. I can't wait for more. And that meant that they had to get out of there. They had to live to so that they could have more hugs and kisses and much more.

We have to get out of here. I want you to stay in here ok. There's...A lot of not good things in this place. More then what's on the walls. The floor...it's covered in gore, my feet actually stick to it. So stay here, try to rest so you'll be ready to run, and I'm going to work on getting that door open ok?

She cupped Eugene's face and placed a soft, sweet kiss against his lips then slipped out the blanket tent. Her feet touched the cold, sticky floor and as she walked, her feet loudly stuck to the floor. Ewwww..... Grabbing a few tools, a hammer, hand saw, flat head screwdriver; she made her way to the door and got to work on breaking the door open.

Maggie was quite impressed by Carl and the way he was able to handle the lock. She wasn't really getting anywhere with the bar. Then someone was heard coming down the stairs that was not a welcome sound. No one coming down there could mean well.

To her surprise it was just a girl carrying a bucket. Then she was handed a sponge and told she would understand.

Can you tell us what's going on?

Much to his surprise, Negan believed him. Then again, any fool could see that Maggie was Glenn's heart. As long as Negan held her captive, he would do whatever it took to make sure she was okay. Even if that meant giving up his own life.


Negan had removed the wrist straps before leaving, then the woman that would take him to Maggie removed the ankle restraints. He was grateful that she turned to offer him some privacy. Either she trusted him, or.. she was confident in her ability to take him down if he chose to attack. But then again, like Negan, she knew he wouldn't try anything foolish because of Maggie.


Standing was a chore,but he managed to slip into the gray cargo pants and black long sleeve shirt that she had brought him. Indeed, they were big, but at least he was no longer exposed and would be warm and... there was even shoes...


Slipping them on, he gave an unseen nod at the woman. "Thank you." He managed through struggled breaths.


"I'm ready..."

Saber turned and gave him a nod and a small smile. She opened the door and lead him outside. She then walked him, at his pace, to the cellar doors. The steps are steep. She warned before having him go down first.

Once they were at the cell she went to open the door only to find it already unlocked. She looked at the two prisoners but said nothing. She opened the door and let Glenn in.

Maggie rushed to Glenn and wrapped her arms around him. He may want to be washed up. he had a rough time at the doctor's office. And she would say no more on the subject. She closed the door and put the lock back on.

Turning on her heels, Saber headed back up the stairs and out the cellar.

Erica was just wriggling her hips between her wrists, ass over her hands, having loosened her bonds enough to bring her hands in front of herself. Turning her back to Beth a little so the girl didn't have to be afraid of her 'craziness' " I am fine." she already gathered the humorous irony that these freaks would die due to their chosen diet was lost on Michonne and Beth and she saw no point in explaining it.

Speaking of the walking Contagions...

Oh now what?

The infirmary was quiet, the once arcades shop front lock down security blinds half down, and as they worked, on a sort of side project Donatello set them.

And teaching April some of the words of Stitch's language.

A moment of April looking through a microscope and Lilo stepped away to check on others. Passing close to Pete - pausing, " you sir look much better... everything alright here?"

The red haired woman gave Maggie an apologetic look, shaking her head in response. The sympathy in her gaze spoke volumes. She knew too much, but was at no liberty to say.


"I am sorry..." She managed before hearing the cellar door open once again. Standing upright to appear less conspicuous, there was a relieved sigh when she realized that Negan was not accompanying the new prisoner.

Each step was excruciating, but Glenn tried desperately to hide his pain as they made their way through the thick snow, thankful the woman had been considerate enough to provide him with shoes. Like the clothes, too big, but much needed protection from the elements.


It felt like a painful eternity, but their destination finally came into view. He waited for the woman to unlock the cellar door, then gave a nod as she warned about the steepness of the steps. He was well aware and knew this area like the back of his hand, but felt no need to tell her that he was a former escapee.

So many emotions rushed through him as he made the slow descent. The weeks of torment he had suffered down here. The familiar smells. The nightmares. The dread made him sick, but there was a reason to push himself....


Maggie was his hope.


Finally approaching the cell, he held back tears as he was let in. He was a mess and it would be impossible to hide the fact that something terrible had happened. The stench that clung to him overpowering, and it made him feel ashamed. Embarrassed. He would have avoided the hug if his broken soul could have reasoned with his fears. But right now, her embrace was what he needed most.


Fighting to suppress the obvious tears, his arms wrapped around her, face buried against her neck. Relief that she was okay. Still, he could not trust his voice just yet...he could only hold her, struggling for composure...

All of that hard work...ugh! But seeing the state Glenn was in quickly took away from the frustration he felt over the lock. Glenn was pale from the blood loss. His hair a mess. Dried blood down the corners of his mouth..and the smell. ..

It didn't take long to figure out what had happened to him. The concern turned to rage as he glared at the red haired woman as she slid the bucket in before the cell door was locked...

He knew she had no control over the situation, but still. She could have helped more...but she was too afraid.


Watching the woman leave and soon, it was just the three of them. Giving Maggie a sympathetic look, Carl moved away to give them as much privacy as possible, deciding to use this time to work at the lock once again...

Eugene returned the kiss, listening to what she had to say, then shook his head. As much as he wanted to stay in the 'safty' of the tent, there was no way he could let her do this alone.


It was time to suck it up and pull himself together. So he did just that. Taking in a deep breath before braving the 'wilds' of the rest of the playhouse....


Soon joining her, he tried to hold his breath as he collected a tool and set to work helping...


Indeed. He wanted to cry. Wanted to vomit. But perhaps he would be okay until he was forced to take a breath.

The wooden door was pretty old, and the first thing Mikko started to do was make a hole in it using the screwdriver and hammer.

She was not expecting Eugene to come out the safety of the blanket tent, and really had hoped he wouldn't. Not because she didn't think he would be useful. The more helping the better. She was just dead set on protecting the man of everything.

But it seemed he was determined no matter what to help. When he got beside her she noticed that he was trying not to breath. She could understand why, the place was rancid. But he wouldn't do them much good passed out.

You have to breath. She told him. She then took off one of the ace bandages from around her chest. It left her more exposed but that was ok. Once off, she folded it into a makeshift mask and placed it over his nose and mouth making sure it wasn't too tight then secured it. This should help, as long as you don't mind inhaling my smell, which could be just as bad. She teased and kissed his cheek.

She then got back to work on making that hole in the door. She had thought of breaking the window and seeing if she could reach the locks, but worried that someone would see that right away. This way they might have a chance. A hole that she can slowly make bigger until the door is weak enough to knock down.

Maggie brought Glenn over to the corner of the cell and sat him down. She grabbed the bucket and dragged it over to them. He didn't have to say what had happen, everyone in that cell knew. Maybe not the details but they knew.

She dipped the sponge in the warm bubbly water and rung it out before softly wiping Glenn's face with it. She worked down to his neck and shoulders but wouldn't remove his cloths unless he did so himself or asked her to.

She wanted to say something, anything that would be encouraging but she couldn't. Her own tears falling down her cheeks as she washed him. This was her fault. She so eagerly led them to their home. She was so trusting because he was a doctor, nice, and funny. She fed right into that charm. She wanted to trust him. And look what it had cost them.

The Terminus group led the women inside a building and had them kneel down in front of a large metal trough. The girls were lined up side by side, their mouths gagged and the men made sure their hands were secure behind their backs.

Beside the girls were three men in the same position.

In front of them on the other side of the trough the termites had set up a camera.

I think we're just about ready. Said one of the men. he put on a thick apron and a pair of gloves then picked up a large knife.

Michonne was trying to stay calm. Even though she knew this was it she didn't want to die scared. She wanted to go down being brave, or seemingly brave.

Beth on the other hand was a mess. She had no interest in acting brave and let her tears flow freely. The fact that there was a polaroid camera was not lost on her. The pictures of them dying, or dead, would be shown to the others. that upset her more then then the thought of dying did.

Why would you want to leave? Love asked appering before Carl. She took a hold of the lock he was working on and looked it over. This would be easy to get out of. Maybe you need something more challenging. She then quickly snatched his hand with the broken wrist.

I thought I gave you something to fix these things? Do you not like my gifts? She asked and gave his hand a sharp twist.

Kurt looked out the window and shook his head. It's getting dark. We will go after Gambit and Deadpool in the morning if they aren't back. Tonight you can stay in my room. If something out there messed up Deadpool enough to kill him, then we wont stand a chance.

Gwen was still looking pretty bad. Pale and weak, but happy! When Lilo paused by them she gave the girl a big smile despite the pain she was in.

Everything is great. We're pregnant! She patted her stomach as she announced the news. She couldn't wait to tell everyone! Well, everyone she knew so that was...Wade, Gambit....Clark. So three people. Oh and Mikko. and when she found out about Mikko and Lous' buns it would be a baby party!

Glenn didn't protest being led to the darkest corner of the cell and being sat down. Like Maggie, he wanted to say something.. but words still wouldn't come. He would have protested the sponge bath.. but he also needed to be rid of the visual reminders.... the smells. Slowly, he pulled off the long sleeve shirt, but that was as far as he would go... nothing else...


His body was battered, but his soul...that was incredibly exhausted. They could never catch a break and as far as they knew, this moment may be the best they would have. Death was inevitable for someone, and he vaguely remembered Negan mentioning shipping him off....


He had tried to avert her gaze, his own downcast to spare her of something he hoped she would never see in him. A dwindling faith in humanity. It was only when he noticed her tears that he held her gaze, reaching a bloodied hand up to caress her cheek. Even now, he put her before himself...


"Are you okay?" He asked, finally forcing his voice, lungs burning from the intrusion of fluids. His other hand reached to caress her stomach, remembering the fall she had taken. How scared he had been that they would lose their future.. their joy... but everything was slowly being stripped away...


And of course. They wouldn't even be permitted this moment. More chaos presented itself in the form of the Cat Demon.

"Sure just don't want them to be out there for to long. But how can Deadpool be brought back to life?" Mel asked Nightcrawler confused on how that worked. If there was a way for him to come back then maybe her family could come back and that would include Bebop.
