Hollow Heroes [Open to all]

What? Demons? Where!? Then it hit her that he meant whoever was calling him over the phone and she relaxed a bit. 'V' had just finished up his breakfast so she wrapped it in some tinfoil all nice and snug and met him by the door.

Here's a breakfast chimichanaga for the road. She told him with a kiss. She handed him the tube food and slapped his ass as he headed out.

Pete was briefly interrupted by the knock at the door, which he quickly answered. He was greeted by a woman who handed him a pack of meat... "Oooh, thank you!" He told her, smiling. It would be good to have something other than canned food...


After placing the meat in the freezer, his attention returned to Gwen. "Okay, we're going to get you to the infirmary.." He informed, and not wasting any time, carefully scooped her up and headed out the door...

Hearing Lois ' words, Clark was silent for a long moment, trying to fully process what she was saying. She was... pregnant? No. That couldn't be right. It was impossible... they were from two different worlds... could it be? Could their DNA be comparable enough to create a new life? Could her human body carry a Kryptonian to term and the bigger question... could she survive it?


Understandably, their was fear and so many other emotions that he needed to process. Still, the thought of creating a new life with her and the opportunity to continue his bloodline gave him hope. It could mean that he wouldn't be the last Kryptonian ... if everything worked out..


And finally, a small smile hinted at his lips as he took her hand, giving a gentle, hopeful squeeze...



"Are... you certain?"

Lexi thanked Laz for the coco, savoring the heavenly warmth of the mug between her hands. The smell, and the amazing taste. Took a few sips, contemplating a shower. Hopefully it would help ease her sore muscles. Yeah, maybe she would do that after breakfast, and then if her body would allow, go explore their new 'home'.


Finally placing the mug on the bedside table, she scooped Kai into her arms and waited for Laz to return. This all seemed too good to be true, and she expected to wake up from this dream at any moment...

...and obviously Eugene was the polar opposite of Mikko when it came to relationships. He never jumped into anything, and certainly not something as important as matters of the heart. So. Once again. He was oblivious to her deep internal thoughts about why he wasn't quick to jump her bones. He did not operate like the other 'men' she had been with.


Hearing her offer, he was quiet for a moment. It had been so long since he had been on a date. It took him weeks to build up the nerve to ask the lady out. And even longer to take it to the next level. Maybe none of that would be good enough or fast enough for Mikko, but still... the thought of a nice date with her sounded appealing. A small smile stretched across his lips and he gave a nod.


"I would very much like that. As mentioned before, I do like to dance... but perhaps you better find some steel toed shoes, because I do not have grace.... "

Once Maggie was safely down, Glenn could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Her comment of being their own causes of death earned a quiet chuckle, and he nodded in agreement. "Yeah, I'm certain we will be. But, what a way to go.."


Then, Maggie called out to any potential pickle clowns, and that's when they heard it. Something... shuffling around in the depths of darkness. Putting himself between Maggie and the unknown, Glenn pulled his knife and shined the light in the noises direction, just as the large Walker lunged forward, snarling and chomping with deadly intent. Glenn was quick to dispatch it, shoving his blade into the monster's temple, and a kick to its gut as he removed his blade from its brain.


Considering that the door leading down here had been blocked with the shelf, it was obvious that someone had put the Walker down here. Perhaps to keep anyone from taking something... but what??


Shining a light around the area, it became obvious what someone was protecting. Shelves lined the wall with various canned foods and boxes of ammo. Another area housed guns. Several boxes were situated just below the rack of weapons...


"Oh wow. I think we hit the jackpot!" He said, a smile stretching across his lips. Making sure there were no more Walkers 'guarding' the place, he moved over to the boxes and knelt to inspect the contents. The first box he opened brought an even wider smile to his face. Slowly, he pulled out the riot gear helmet and held it up for Maggie to see. "This brings back some memories, huh? I guess whoever owns this cabin put that Walker down here to guard this stuff...."

Negan's men were definitely being useful for once. As the horde moved in to feast on the Saviors' remains, Daryl gave a nod, and they moved closer to the cabin...


"Yeah, I'll take someone with me. Maybe Glenn... he's good at gettin' in and out of places, and.. if he's well enough to treat the mall to porn, think he's good..." He told her. He couldn't ask her to put herself in danger, not when this could be a one way trip for him. Because if he got the chance to take Negan out... he was going to take it...



Finally reaching the door, he gave a nod, knowing without doubt it was barricaded. He nodded in agreement... they all needed to have Walkies for this very reason. Still, he tried to open the door and gave a few good pushes, but no luck. Pulling out his knife, he wedged it between the door and the frame, hoping to push open the locks...


"Glenn... Maggie?? " He called in a hushed tone, hoping they could hear, and not wanting to draw the unwanted attention of the feasting Walkers....

Mikko smiled and moved herself so that her back was to him and wrapped his arms snuggly around her.

My toes will be just fine. I have the perfect place too. There's a garden in the mall, I'm going to cook us a dinner fit for royalty with candles and soft classical music in the back ground. Then we can slow dance our way into the night.

She rocked side to side, her head resting on his shoulder as she started to sing softly.

When Maggie heard the shuffling noise for a moment a real pickle stealing clown popped in her head. It was horrifying! He had a pickle for a nose and he was after her goods! But then her personal hero got inbetween her and the clown and he quickly put an end to that evil!

She smiled and gave Glenn a big kiss. My hero. You saved my pickles.

Then it was shone what that walker was guarding. Ammo, food and more! She looked around and soon picked up a large weapon that appealed to her. Turning when Glenn got her attention.

This is great. Now to figure out how to bring it all back with us.

And then she thought she heard the very faint cries of someone calling her name. She walked back to the foot of the stairs and tried to listen harder...

Did you hear someone call us?

As Laz was making the strange Grilled Cheese cheese sandwich there was a knock at the door. Answering it, it was Diana with a few packs of meat. With many thanks he went back to the kitchen and put all of it in the freezer except for a bit he would cook up for breakfast.

After awhile Lexi had a grilled cheese sandwich and bacon.

We took the plate of food and went back in the bedroom. Breakfast is served.

"What we can't get now, we can come back for later." Glenn told her, still overly excited by the loot they had found. He pulled out the Riot gear, then moved onto the next box. Another complete suit of armor. And then a third. This would certainly be useful for when they go to war with Negan. And, it may be needed to escape the cabin...



"I say we take the Riot gear first, and what food we can. We have guns back at the mall... but these would certainly come in handy. And... if we can take them, it will keep them out of the hands of the enemy..."


Then, the faint sounds of someone calling their names. Glenn was quiet for a moment, listening, and heard it again. Pushing himself up, he nodded at Maggie. "Sounds like Daryl..."

When Beth turned, her lips were oh so close to his. He could feel the warmth of her breath, and the softness of her lips brushed against his and in that moment, video games were not on his mind. She had him in a love struck daze, and his complete focus was on her...


He returned each of her kisses, his uninjured hand coming up to cup her cheek as the kiss deepened, savoring her taste and the warmth that seemed to radiate from her. The way she made him feel...he never thought he could feel this way, or have this, but here she was...


His eye slid closed as the kiss became deeper, more passionate and longing...

Beth slid her hands under his shirt, her cool hands running over his bare back as the kiss heated up. her tongue slipped passed his lips, sliding softly over his. She let out a soft hum as her thin fingers traveled downward to his jeans and slipping beneath his waist band, tugging him closer to her.

She didn't know how far Carl was willing to go yet. But she was making it obvious that she was ready to take things further.

"Mmmm.. you are the best!" Wade hummed against V's lips, lifting his mask and stealing a quick kiss and sparing a naughty brow wiggle as she smacked his ass. [color=red]"I'll be back soon!"[color] He promised, and out the door he went..


He made it to the lobby in no time, and quickly spotted Gambit with that kid, but she was in a wheelchair? He wasn't sure what was going on, but he didn't feel it was urgent. Finally here moved the mask to enjoy his breakfast....


"Okay. I see no emergency... what the hell. I was enjoying some live Porn.." Of course the show had ended, but he was a little frustrated that he had been called away when no one was dying...

Gambit turned in his chair when he heard his loudmouth friend. Sorry I missed that. The emergency is you and Mikko aren't together anymore. Which I assume means, you aren't sleeping with her anymore. I don't care why you two broke up. But she's not getting your healing factor anymore, meaning she's going to start turning into one of those zombies soon.We don't know how soon because no one's tested it out. But while we were waiting for you, Bruce walked passed saying someone chowed down on the prisoner down stairs. So I'm guessing pretty soon.

I don't know what your feelings of her are...But I thought I would fill you in on what's going on. So what she do anyway? Because I know you wouldn't leave her. I seen the way you look at her. She must have fucked up big time...

Maggie started to strap on one of the suits. Man, it was heavy, and probably something she should not have been wearing. But it was damn awesome and made her feel bad ass! She then pulled down some pistols and loaded them up before putting them on her self. Lock and load mother fuckers!

I'll go let Daryl in.

Fully armed, Maggie climbed the stairs and headed to the front door. Of course she had to push the barracade out of the way. With her back against it she started to push.

Hang on...I...Got to get this...Out the way...

" Or it could be that it was all lust and not actual love this isn't Disney. How the hell can you love someone after only knowing them for a few hours? You don't really know people that quickly." Mel pointed out the whole love at first sight was nothing but bs.

When Mikko rested her head against him, Eugene leaned his cheek against her and listened to her sing. A small smile tugged across his lips. She was doing a good job at easing his heartache. She certainly was good company. He was glad she was here. Glad that she felt he was worth saving.. and worth investing time in...


Who knew where this would go. Only time would tell...

She turned her head and nuzzled her face against his neck placing a few soft kisses against his skin. His neck was far from his lips after all. She continued her placing kisses against him, moving to his ear and lightly pressing her lips against his ear lobe then working back down his neck.

You smell good.... She complimented between kisses.

Seeing Maggie strap on the gear before going back of the ladder certainly made him concerned.... "Um, babe.. maybe you should wait..." And he would have carried it up for her so she could put it on without climbing with the additional weight, but she was in her own zone with weapons in hand, and then up the ladder she went...


Glenn sighed deeply, knowing none of this was good for the baby(s)...


Quickly climbing up behind her, he was rushed towards the barricaded door and began pushing the heavy objects away, giving her a worried look. "You're supposed to be taking it easy..." He reminded her. "And I know you're made of glass.. I know you're strong and don't need me to protect you. But.. you're my beautiful diamond and... you can't blame a guy for trying.." He told her with a small smile, before she could verbally tear into him for acting like she always needed to be protected.



"And.. you have to remember... you're pregnant. You have to take it easy."



Finally, the barricade was out of the way, and after confirming that it was indeed Daryl and Michonne on the other side, he stepped back to give her the honors of opening, since he had to take the other chore away from her...

Glenn was a brave man telling her to take it easy when she was strapped down with loaded guns. Not that she would ever aim a gun at Glenn loaded or not. But still! You don't know if a women is going to snap. Luckily this time she did let Glenn take over pushing the stuff out of the way so she could open the door.

She still gave him the look but it was quickly followed by a smile.

Opening the door she gave the couple a sheepish grin, knowing this whole mess was her fault.

Look Glenn found gear and weapons, along with food. And speaking of food...She headed to the kitchen to grab another pickle.

Michonne was looking for another way in, maybe a window she could squeeze into. As she was testing out some boards on a window she heard someone coming into the living room and to the front door. Then heard Maggie's voice.

Hurrying back to Daryl's side she waiting with him for the door to open. Then she heard Glenn saying something to Maggie and the door opened.

Nice outfit. She complimented as she walked inside the cabin.

She then spotted the moose. That guy looks like he's seen some shit. Her attention then turned to what Maggie had said. Her and Daryl only had the four wheeliers. but there was the car. How much stuff we talking about? Maybe we can truck out here and grab it all.

Wade munched on his breakfast as Gambit filled him in on his 'predictions'... about how Mikko was slowly changing into one of those things, all because she was no longer in contact with him. There was a dead body that had been eaten, and it seemed that fingers were pointing to Mikko....


Wade didn't want to believe it. Didn't to know that someone couldn't function without him. Of course, he would do anything for Mikko. He did love her, but.. maybe there was some weight to what the young girl was saying, even if he didn't want to hear it...


"Yes, I get it.. we rushed into things..." And becoming engaged when they had only known each other for under forty eight hours, looking back.. they had rushed into things for sure.


Sighing deeply, he gave a nod at Gambit. "I'll pay her a visit.." He told him, wondering if he should answer his buddy's question. "Vanessa's back...after all this time, she's back. And... my love for her never died. I know, it's shitty of me to just drop Mikko like a bad habit but... it's my fault, for giving up on V so quickly. But I thought after two years, she was gone..."

Gambit thought they rushed things too. But also understood why they would. At least from Mikko's side of things. Tomorrow was never promised, so she would want to move quickly if she felt she found the one. Which she obviously did.

Then wade told him that Vanessa was back. That took him aback. He was sure the woman was dead and wasn't sure how he felt about that. Happy for his friend, but...Would he have made that same choice? Leaving his current love for a past love? It was probably a situation you had to be in to know what you would do.

That's great, man. I mean... sucks for you and Mikko...But...Yeah I hope it all works out for you.

" Two years and she just suddenly shows up? I know life is insane and has coincidences but the odds of you two finding each other in this mall after two years in the apocalypse is insane. I'm not sure if I would trust that or not." The teen said feeling a bit uneasy about the situation.
