A Charmed Life

Lydia was excited to see his place she was sure it was a messy man cave but she didn't mind. She jumped at the sudden knock at her door.

Pushing up from the table, she peeked in the peep hole before answering the door.

Another handsome man, must be my lucky day, You want breakfast? She asked inviting Gabe inside.

Corey had a feeling that it was Gabe at the door. He headed over with Lydia just in case it was someone else, but as soon as he realized he was right, he huffed and resumed his spot at the table. Of course he was finished with his breakfast, but he was making it clear that be was not ready to head out with Gabe.

Gabe picked up on Corey's irritation over him being here, and that only fueled his desire to stick around a little before getting to business. He flashed Lydia his best charming smile and even braved a kiss against the girl's cheek, knowing it would get under Corey's skin. It indeed had the desired effect.

"If you've got enough to spare, I'd love some." His attention then shifted to Corey. "I told you to meet me."[/b]

Corey's eyes narrowed. He wanted to chunk a fork at Gabe's head, but refrained out of respect for Lydia. "In an hour. I'm spending time with my girlfriend."

Gabriel snorted at that. There was no way someone like Corey had taken a girl like Lydia off the market. He was obviously confused by a one night stand, but he wasn't going to argue with the teen in Lydia's home.

Lydia smiled brightly at the kiss. Sure she was taken now, but getting a kiss to the cheek was always nice. She piled some food onto a plate and placed it on the table along with a glass of OJ. She then sat back down beside Corey.

I don't know what you two have planed but My man better come back in one piece. She wrapped an arm around Corey and gave him a squeeze.

I'm quite attached to this one.

Ryn streeeetched, she hadn't wanted to move buuuut she was drying out, so her attempt at a good morning was a wee croaky and she puffed a little, slipping off the bed after giving Mondo a quick hug, he had kindly let her snuggle up again and it was comforting!

She shuffles out and as Leo had shown her the previous morning she calls out a gentle, " G mmmooorning." to tall Donatello, looking about curiously for the others.

Mikko took a bite out of the muffin and headed to the kitchen for a much needed energy drink. She didn't care for coffee so got her caffeine fix in other ways.

She then got a text on her phone, it was Don telling her that his brothers wanted to meet them all and that Erica, Lilo and stitch would be joining them with food.

Those two like to cook. That was Don. His brothers want to sus us out. Erica and Lilo are going to make dinner.

Don finished texting everyone and greeted Ryn.

Good morning. Would you like some tea?

Gabe plopped down at the table and dug into his breakfast. He normally wasn't a breakfast kind of guy, but having a home cooked meal was nice.

"Yer a good cook." He complimented and spared Lydia a wink.

It seemed that Lydia did indeed have a thing for Corey and him being here was more than just a one night stand, which was shocking to him. She was beautiful and talented and had her own place. Corey lived on the streets. It just didn't make sense to him, but Gabe had been there before. Most of the gang members had a tough go in life, but most weren't lucky enough to fall in with someone like Lydia.

He couldn't tell the girl that he planned on having Corey rob some places. That wasn't safe at all. Hell, nothing the Dragons did was ever safe. Surely she realized that. So there would be no promises of a safe return.

"I'll try not to let 'im get into too much trouble." He told her. And he would. He wouldn't intentionally let the teen get hurt or killed, but shit happens.


Corey wrapped an arm around Lydia and gave her a squeeze. "I'm gonna be okay." He tried to reassure her. His attention then shifted to Gabe. "Jigs in your car? You gotta stop doing that, man. He's worth more than just guarding your drugs. Which, he sucks at by the way."

Of course Corey was gonna be on that again. Gabe sighed. "He likes you for some reason. And don't worry about him. I don't just have him to guard the drugs. I was plannin' on just gettin' you and bein' on our way...."


Corey still didn't like the thought of the dog being left in the car, but he would let it go. For now. "I know being teamed up with me wasn't your idea. You could just lie to Hun and tell him I did whatever it is you wanted me to do..."


Gabe finished off his breakfast and leaned back in his chair. It was clear that Corey didn't want to do this. "That's how you get killed, kid. Hun has ways of findin' out the truth. He wants proof. You've managed to stay out of his radar but that lil stunt you pulled last night put you right in his sight. Congrats on that. I'm gonna try to help keep you alive for your girl, but you gotta help me out. No stupid shit." His attention then shifted to Lydia.


"Thanks for breakfast, beautiful. Best I've had in awhile."

Vic finished getting dressed. Black jeans, black hoodie and combat boots. Some would say that it was too warm for so much clothes, but it never seemed to bother him. If the club didn't need them tonight, they needed to try to book another gig. Rent wasn't free, after all.

Still, he was in the mood for more Mikko snuggles, so he plopped back on the bed and pulled Mikko close. It sounded like they would be meeting Donnie's brothers.


"Sounds like a fun time." He gave her a squeeze and a kiss against tbe forehead.

Lydia leaned into Corey. She was worried for him and for Gabe. She worried about all her Dragon boys really. But this was the life they chose and she wouldn't be a nag about it.

You're very welcome. If you happen to rob a jewelry store bring me back something nice. She told Corey with a peck on his cheek.

I have to open up shop soon. You two don't have too much fun.

Mikko was happy to get back to snuggling with her new favorite man. She finished her food and wrapped her arms around Vic smooching his face.

Your band should make some CDs sell them at your gigs. Lydia knows a guy with a studio. Also there is a festival happening here in a few weeks. Maybe you can get a spot on stage.

Vic smiled at Mikko. She had a lot of really good suggestions and studio time was something their band had been working towards. Just enough to record audio and burn CDs and get those into circulation...

"I think you would make a badass manager. We would be like Sharon and Ozzy." He plafuly ran his fingers down her side.

"Lydia has a studio friend? Maybe she could introduce us. As long as I don't have to suck any dicks." He teased.

Corey smiled and returned Lydia's kiss. So she liked diamonds? Of course she did. All women loved them. Maybe bringing her back something super expensive would smooth over the fact that he was going to have no home to show her....

"I got you." He told her, stealing another kiss before pushing himself up. Gabe was already at the door, not wanting to hold Lydia up from her job.

Corey made a little heart symbol with his hands and blew Lydia a kiss before following Gabriel out...

"You're a dork." Gabe rolled his eyes at Corey.

Corey shrugged. "Well, she likes me. That's all that matters."

Mikko beemed at that. But she didn't want to start managing guys she just met, Vic might be ok with that but the others might not like it.

So romantic. and nah you wont have to suck and dicks, Lydia will do that for you. she's kind of a hoe.

Mikko caught Vic's lips in a deep kiss. She slowly pulled away with a devious smile and went down on him. Nothing like a little morning lovings to get the day started.

Lydia returned the heart symbol with one of her own.

be careful you two. She watched them leave and once they were gone she got dressed and prepared to open up shop.

Mondo happily returned the hug! He got up and pulled his shorts on. He had slept in his boxers. Once dressed he walked out to the kitchen giving everyone a wave.

Morning dudes. And dudets

Raph had hardly slept, too worried about Mike and what could be happening to his youngest brother. When he finally slept, he woke up later than anyone else. He pushed himself up from his bed, hoping that last night had just been a nightmare, but reality was setting in.


He wasted no time gearing up and headed out of his room, greeting everyone with his usual grunt, obviously not a morning turtle and still understandably upset and angry that they had failed to find Mike last night.

Raph plopped down at the table, pulling his box of cereal close and drowning it with a generous amount of milk...

"Anyone heard anything?" Of course, he already knew the answer to that. Surely someone would have woken him if any news had been heard. He was grasping at straws, hopeful, but always guarded.

The guys headed out to Gabe's black Camaro where a very excited Jigs awaited. Gabe rolled his eyes as he slid into the driver's seat snd his dog instantly gravitated towards Corey as he took the passengers side. Jigs poked his head over the back seat and lavished Corey's face with kisses. Corey chuckled and gave the dog a scratch behind the ears. Gabe was not amused, but decided to not comment on the fact that his dog really liked the kid.


Soon they were on their way. Gabe turned on the radio, Eminem blasting through the speakers. He wasn't expecting for Corey to have the same taste in music so was a little surprised when the teen began singing along and actually nailing it....

"... I didn't know you could rap..."

Corey shrugged. "You never asked?"

Gabe just rolled his eyes. The kid was snarky, but had he been any different at that age? Nope. He knew that he kept Ezekiel on edge. Maybe this was his payback.

"Soooo, I have a favor. I didn't think I would ever like anyone as much as Sam, but Lydia is pretty special. But...she wants to see my place. You see the problem here? I was thinking maybe I could like 'borrow' your place for a night. If she finds out I'm homeless, she's gonna think I'm a loser..."

Gave gave Corey a look of disbelief. "None of those are my problems. Besides, Lydia knows where I live. She would know it's a lie. Just be honest, man. You can't lie to her forever."[/b]

Corey frowned at that. And how did Lydia know where Gabe lived? Had he fucked her before? He felt a little jealous, but if it did happen, it was before they got together. With a sigh, he decided to drop it.


"Where are we going, anyway? It's day time. Shouldn't we be doing...whatever we're gonna do at night?"

Gabe shook his head. [/color] "We'll be doin' some hits tonight too, but there's a jewelry store that's closed on weekends. Besides, those fuckin' Turtles come out at night. I want your first assignment to be without those assholes as obstacles..."[/color]


Corey didn't like the thought of robbing a place during the day, but it seemed he didn't have a choice, and 'his assignment'? Was Gabe not going to help him? "Do I at least get a gun?"

Gabe opened the glove box and pulled out a small pistol. After making sure the safety was on, handed it to him. "Do not lose it. Only use it if you absolutely have to."


Corey shoved it into the waistline of his jeans. He was a little confused when Gabe pulled into Taco Bell. Jigs became super excited, he was finally going to get his Nacho fries!

Leo sort of just popped out of no where, freshly washed after all morning training. " Good morning... No news so far about Mikey. How about you Donnie? How was the guest room Mondo? Ryn?" nodding to them and making his way towards the tea pot, pausing to tap Runs shoulder touching a bit of dry skin and her breathing sounded a bit rough. " you okay? Look a little dry."

Ryn beamed and waves at all, "Duuude? wonderingly to Mondo as she sits down beside Raph - suddenly there is a bowl and spoon and a Leo there! She blinks and looks at her drying skin, " Okay, yes... Need to go back... Deep water... My water..." she explains and hopefully pushes bowl at Raph!

Leo oooohs and nods, " We will get you back there then." smiling and making people's hot drinks. Well those that don't have one yet.

The overpass that Jinx lived under was right next to the taco bell. She was sitting on an old beach chair eating a chalupa when she spotted Gabe's car driving close.

She gave a smile and a wave to the guys but doubt that anyone saw her.

Unlike Corey, Jinx didn't care who knew she was homeless. She did have a tent. So technically she had a home. But she hoped soon for an upgrade.

Jigs was soon chowing down on his Nacho fries and Gabe ordered a bag of burritos for the road since they would be out all day and well into the night. He was about to pull away when Corey pointed out Jinx....

"Is that the girl you left with last night?"

Gabe didn't answer. He started to just leave, but...was she homeless? Of course she fucking was. And of course Gabe cared more than he let on. With a sigh he turned back around and pulled up next to where Jinx was sitting....

"Don't tell me you live here..."

He noticed her! And stopped for her.

She stood up and went over to Gabe's window with a grin.

For now. But I plan on getting a real place soon, I hope. The guys here are nice though. What are you two up to?

Jinx didn't seem too bothered by the fact she was homeless. But, a female being out on the streets didn't set well with Gabe....


"I'm being kidnapped...help..." Corey replied in his best dramatic voice, causing Gabe to push his hand in his face.

"This asshole fucked up, so Hun put me in charge of him. We're gonna go do some law breakin'...yer free to tag along if you want. You shouldn't be out here by yourself."

Law breaking? Fuck yeah! Let's blow some shit up!

She waved bye to the others in the camp and hopped in the back of Gabe's car next to Jigs.

She gave the dog a good pet behind the ears.

Oooo I get to go on an adventure with two hot guys and a cute pup. Today is my lucky day.

No word from Mike. Erica and Lilo are keeping an eye out though.

He sipped his coffee and noticed Leo checking Ryn over. He got up and laid a hand on her forehead to get a round about temp. It wouldn't be precise but he would know if she had a fever or not at least.

It sounded like she needed to return to the waters.

We'll get you back to the water soon. Would you like a glass of water to drink?

Gabe couldn't help but chuckle at Jinx' enthusiasm. "No blowin' things up. We're tryin' to keep a low profile. We're gonna hit that jewelry store down by the abandoned church. Maybe a liquor store at some point, because I'm 'thirsty'. Then Central Park tonight. Gonna see how well Corey does at pick pocketin'."


Corey just rolled his eyes as he fidgeted with the radio. Eminem had reached his end and it was time for a new CD, so he found Gabe's binder of discs underneath his seat and started flipping through them...

"What kind of music do you like?" He asked Jinx.
