Abilities and Powers:
* Kryptonian-Human Hybrid Physiology*
Because of his Kryptonian/Human hybrid genetic structure under the effects of a 'yellow' sun, Jon possesses the same potential powers as an average Kryptonian. However, Jon's abilities exceed that of his father's and cousin's due to his human/kryptonian hybrid cells. These powers include:
*Solar radiation absorption: Jon is able to obsorb the light and radiation of stars and suns, mainly those of the yellow stellar spectrum. His Kryptonian body is constantly absorbing and storing energy from Earth's yellow sun, which in turn grants him incredible powers, such as super human strength, super speed, enhanced senses, impenetrable skin, and even the ability to defy gravity. His cells ignite with the power of a supernova.
*Invulnerability: Because he is half Kryptonian, Jon's body is nigh-invulnerable to his superhumanly dense cellular and anatomical structure as well as his radiating bio-electrical aura. However, in the beginning, his invulnerability was inconsistent, as he got a scraped knee and a concussion from falling out of a tree. Later on, he has shown certain degrees of durability. He is capable of withstanding the impact of being slammed through a building. In addition, his invulnerability also extends protection against toxins, poisons and diseases.
*Super-human strength: As a result of his half Kryptonian lineage, Jon possesses incredible super human strength and capable of handling tens of thousands of pounds.
* Super human stamina: Jon possesses a stamina phenomenally exceeding that of humans. Though he can operate for a substantial amount of time without tiring, he eventually does need to rest and relax.
* Flight: Jon is able to manipulate gravitation particles to defy the forces of gravity and achieve flight. Jon is capable of flying at speeds comparable to his father. He has actually beaten his father in a race before.
* Enhanced Visual Perception and X-Ray Vision: Jon is able to see through solid objects and possesses the ability to scan through years of material in seconds.
*Heat Vision: His heat vision is powerful enough to singe even his own father's skin and cause considerable collateral damage to his surroundings.
* Empathic Solar Flare: He has the ability to expel solar energy in gigantic bursts of explosive force. Jon's bursts are capable of causing widespread destruction similar to a Nuclear explosion. Jon has very little to no control over it due to his human heritage.
* Other abilities include an enhanced sense of smell, super human speed, super breath (like his father, he has the ability to freeze objects with his breath).
Weaknesses:
*Vulnerability to Kryptonite: Due to his half-Kryptonian DNA, Jon is vulnerable to Kryptonite like his father.
* Jon's powers sometimes fluctuates with his moods.
* Solar Energy Dependency: Like average Kryptonians, Jon needs to recharge his energy from absorbing solar energy from the yellow sun radiation. Lack of solar energy in long periods will gradually weaken his abilities, ultimately making him vulnerable.
* Vulnerability to Psionics: Jon's inexperience with dealing with psychotic foes leaves him vulnerable, especially if those psychic attacks his powers.
* Vulnerability to Magic.
History:
Jon was born after the outbreak and has never known a world without the undead and the threats they present. He is the only child that resulted from Clark Kent and Lois Lane's short marriage. Corrupt scientists knew that Superman could put an end to the outbreak by eliminating the reanimated corpses, so they found a way to infuse a majority of the zombies with liquified kryptonite, hoping to destroy the Kryptonian, or at least keep him at bay, at least until they could conduct the desired research on the world's newest threat. Unfortunately the plan backfired and the zombies became greater in number, eventually taking over the world.
The kryptonite infused zombies proved successful of keeping Clark at bay. Unfortunatrly his weakness would prevent him from saving Lois during a zombie attack. He tried to save his wife, who was ripped apart in front of him. The kryptonite exposure nearly cost him his own life. Jon was only one years old at the time. Mikko became Jon's unofficial guardian while Clark recovered from the toxic exposure, and worked through the trauma of being unable to save his wife.
Jon struggled with his powers during his childhood years. His abilities seemed to fluctuate with his mood. He discovered his heat vision at the tender age of five when he accidentally torched his pet cat. Other mishaps would follow, some resulting in the injuries of some of the other children at the Bunker. His healing abilities also seemed to come and go at random. As the years progressed, his immunity, strength and abilities seemed to stabilize, though his mood can often have an impact over his powers. He can be less in control of his abilities compared to his father, but he has proven to be stronger time and time again.
Diana Prince became the boy's stepmother early on and because he has little memory of his biological mother, he considers Diana his mother. He is still close to Mikko, Evelyn and Ezra.
As Jon grew older, he struggled with who he was as a person. He felt alienated, even among a Bunker full of metahumans and mutants. He was the only one of his age with such exceptional abilities. He also struggles with his love life and discovered that he is bisexual. He has dated a lot, but still has not found the right love interest.

* Jon's hair is impervious to bleach, meaning he is unable to die his hair.
* He is bisexual
* Nightwing has been his personal hero following an incident when he was 9 years old and was found by Dick Grayson alone in a cave lost and scared.
