Frozen Hell Empty
PostSubject: Frozen Hell   Frozen Hell EmptyTue Oct 24, 2017 12:39 pm

Maggie's bare feet sunk into the fresh snow as she ran. the storm was getting worse, she had gotten separated from Michonne and she was lost in the woods, at night, in this snow storm. She didn't even know if her friend was still alive. She didn't know if her love, Glenn was alive, or Rick, or anyone! She wanted to go back but...what way was back? Finally stopping to take a breath Maggie tried to make out her surroundings. Her lungs burned with every breath she took. Her body was shivering and worse, she was getting tired she could hardly keep her eyes open and it was a struggle to even lift her feet out of the snow. Course, the wind blowing didn't help, it dried her eyes and made it hard for her to keep them open and focused.

Michonne!?

Yelling was foolish. She knew that. But what did it matter now? She was either going to die from the elements, the Saviors or walkers.

Michonne!? Glenn!?

There was a panic in her voice as the thought of meeting her end became more real. She leaned her back against one of the many trees and allowed her eyes to close. The faint whistling sounded like nothing more then part of the wind at first. It was easy to write off in her tired state. But as it got closer it was sounding less and less like the wind through trees and more human. Maggie pried her eyes open, she didn't see anyone but there was no mistaken there was someone approaching. There was a fleeting moment where she wanted to run towards the voice, to another living person. It could be help, it could be Michonne. But she knew better then that. She had to get out of there, had to hide.

Pushing herself from the tree she started to move again, but her feet and legs were frozen. Her body shivering so badly she could do nothing else.

Little red riding hood. You sure are looking good.

Just hearing that voice so close made her feel sick to her stomach. He found her. Where were the others? Glenn? Negan was here. Did that mean...

She choked back on a sob right as Negan roughly pushed her face down on the ground. There wasn't much of a fight though Maggie did try. Negan took what he wanted, the storm, cold, snow, he didn't seem to care about any of it. He was running on an adrenaline high. Who knows how long the torture would have lasted if Maggie hadn't found not only large jagged rock under the snow, but also the strength to lift it and with a loud, pained scream she smashed it in Negan's face breaking his nose and causing him to remove himself from her with a slew of curses. It gave her enough time to crawl away into nearby, thick brush while he wasn't looking. The attack thankfully pissed Negan off enough to make him leave. Either that or he was finally feeling the cold.

Now beaten and worse, Maggie slowly made her way away from the scene.

Maggie didn't remember much after the attack. She did remember getting out of the woods. She had made it to a road and passed out. She was then found and picked up by another community and brought to their home. the next thing she knew she was waking up in a nice posh room. She was sore and confused and scared. But a doctor was with her to explain what was going on. It was then she learned that she was pregnant. The news was bitter sweet. She was sure that Negan had killed Glenn. In fact she was sure that no one else had made it. Even so, it wouldn't stop her from going back out there to look for them. even if they hadn't made it, they deserved a proper burial. It would have to wait though. Not by her choice, but because she physically couldn't get out of the bed.

A lot of damage had been done to her. Negan had severely injured her head and face. Plus she needed to stay on bed rest to make sure the unborn child was safe. Laying in that bed while her family, while the love her life was still out there was worse then anything Negan could ever have done to her. She didn't sleep. She couldn't eat. She was losing weight.

An infection developed that almost took her life over night, but she pulled through, so did her little one.

As time went one she got stronger, healthier, she was became more optimistic. Glenn was out there alive somewhere. She was going to find him.
