| general information: Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde also know as... Kitty , Shadowcat, Kitten, Kätzchen, Sprite.born on - January 17 1996gender, Alignment, Species, Occupation: female, X-Men, Human Mutant, Student/ X-Men team member.what she looks like... At five foot and lean all over Kitty is on the 'small' side of things. Typical cheek, wide smile usually in place, large brown eyes, olive clean complexion and brown hair, some times in a pony tail or left down. when not in the X-Men gear usually just gets about like any other teen in tops, jeans and vibrant bright odd colored shoes and socks.what she is like... Has been described as a 'cute", "free spirited", "good-time girl" and is a "wild child" at heart. And is all those things but mostly a teen girl at heart just trying to get through school whilst trying to be a good 'superhero'. Has an open, caring, friendly nature for most the part but is quick thinker in tight corners and may some times drop naught word bombs from time to time.the little things she enjoys - *Ice Cream.
*Cats... but is more of a Dog girl at heart, nothing better when out and about then getting to meet a dog parent - wishes to have one of her own one day.
*Fantasy books.
*Enjoys a wide selection of songs from all genres of music, likes her some country music partcularly.
*Skateboarding, boarding, roller blading, ice skating.
*the chance to meet new people.
*the color white.... good at... *Meeting new people.
*getting along with new people.
*thinks shes a pretty good judge of character.

*phasing.the little things she does not enjoy as much.... *homework! -duh!

*Missions - well no sometimes their exciting, but most the time just a lot of adrenaline and pressure!
*Zits.less than good at... *The homework! of course that's why its not exactly something she enjoys, though her difficulty in 99.9% her own doing through distraction and lack of attention not hardships in most subject matters.

*Piloting or driving.... anything - though swears she'll improve!mutation ability. Intangibility or phasing. The ability to quantum tunnel through solid matter without harm.History: Katherine Anne "Kitty" Pryde was born in Deerfield, Illinois, to Carmen and Theresa Pryde. Of Jewish descent, her paternal grandfather, Samuel Prydeman, was held in a Nazi concentration camp during World War II. Kitty started to have headaches at age thirteen, signaling the emergence of her mutant powers. She was approached by both the X-Men's Charles Xavier and the Hellfire Club's White Queen, Emma Frost, both of whom hoped to recruit her for their respective causes. Kitty was unnerved by Frost, observing that the White Queen looked at her as if she were "something good to eat." She got along better with Xavier and the three X-Men who escorted him, quickly becoming friends with Ororo Munroe. Ororo told Kitty who she really was and about the X-Men, which made the teenager even more enthusiastic about attending Xavier's school.
Their conversation was cut short when they (along with Wolverine and Colossus) were attacked by armored mercenaries in the employ of Frost and the Hellfire Club. The X-Men defeated their assailants, but were subdued by the White Queen's telepathic powers immediately after. In the confusion, Kitty was separated from, and not captured along with, the X-Men. She managed to contact Cyclops, Phoenix, and Nightcrawler. With the help of Dazzler and Pryde, those X-Men rescued their teammates from the Hellfire Club.
The White Queen appeared to perish in the battle, which meant she was no longer competing with Xavier for the approval of Kitty's parents. Kitty's parents had not heard from her in more than a day, because during that time she was first being pursued by the Hellfire Club's men and then working with the X-Men to save their friends. All they knew was Kitty had left with Xavier's "students" to get a soda, there had been reports that the soda shop had been blown up, and Kitty had been missing since. Therefore, they were angry at Xavier when he finally returned with Kitty in tow. At first, it seemed like there was no chance of Kitty being allowed to attend the school and join the X-Men. Phoenix then used her considerable telepathic power to erase the memories of Kitty's parents and plant false ones, resulting in a complete shift in their attitude towards Xavier. Kitty was then allowed to enroll at Xavier's school with her parents' blessing, becoming the youngest member of the team.
During a lesson among many, in controlling her powers of phasing and doing a little inter dimensional phasing practicing, Kitty mets a cat-sized purple dragon who resembled the creature from a childhood fairy tale, which she named "Lockheed" whom is actually a member of a highly advanced dragon-like extraterrestrial race, who are capable of traveling through space via special astral ships which transport their essences. Their society is similar to insect hives, with the individual being only part of the "Flock". Lockheed had been celebrated by his people as a brave fighter and hero against the Brood, but has demonstrated individual attitudes and wishes which were realized only when he encountered the X-Men.{Hollow Heroes} Not much to tell other than horror gore and mayhem, been traveling about the more warmer places of the states since she and Lockheed became separated from her original group - trying her best to avoid trouble, keeping a low profile with a traveling companion Lilo Pelekai and her odd little alien best bud, dog thing Stitch, always hoping the four of them may eventually run into some fellow and familiar mutants.

|  Sample Post Once upon a time... days like this would just be a part of a imaginary world she had been reading into for hours at a time. From some safe cushioned spot, or perhaps out in the bright sun laying sprawled under the shade, a breeze ruffling pages. And she would curse it but be glad for the smells it brought and not let such a minor detail bring her out of the life being lived through the sheaf's of text. Siiiigh... except right now the zombies where not ones she could put a book mark or some variation in and slam soft or hard covers on and go join friends boarding or listen to music. Shame that. | |
