A Grimm take on a TMNT Canon.



History.

Her family was from Louisana, however, after losing her parents at a young age to various bad habits and being in a couple of less-than-wonderful homes she finally found a home with her strange eccentric, and also an intimidating grandmother.

Angel was an angry tween, who tried to become a Purple Dragons but ended up not going through with it thanks to a neighborhood vigilante and a friend, Arnold Casey Jones, and the Mutant Ninja Turtles.

And for a while, she was on the straight and narrow, fast strong friends with the MNT, Casey, and April.

At the death of her grandmother, a hard enough time in which an eighteen-year-old was left to explore the world, as it was an unknown part of her history and inheritance along with her grandmother's apartment she learns that she is a hexenbeast.




Appearance.

Don't be fooled by the youthful, athletic black beauty.

Angel can choose to change her eye and hair color and style. When using her powers at maximum she woges (VOH-gə or VOHG; Gers.) involuntarily a form has a wraith or cadaver-like appearance with abysmal eyes and several strips of flesh extending across one side of her mouth.

Personality.

As a youth she used to be a spitfire, hard and hot-headed, very intelligent girl with good insight. That all changed when her inherited witch beast became known, after realizing, becoming her new nature,  a bestial and aggressive side of herself that was most pronounced whenever her Hexenbiest form surfaced.

During her world trip she acknowledged and enjoyed her newfound power and "much more interesting" life and that she had fully embraced who and what she had now become. Choosing not to hold onto her humanity and overcome how becoming a Hexenbiest had changed her.

Renaming herself Onyx, building her own criminal gang called NightShades (like the deadly flower), which she magically brands into her followers, not some lame tattoo and if they betray they turn into beasts, weres, vamps, kitsune, etc, etc only as magic made they have non of the powers of those beasts and she will then use in her deadly arenas, focused more on underground inhuman gladiator rings and trafficking of ... well nonhumans. Very lucrative in the right circles and she knows those circles. And finally returns to her grandmother's home city to find some of the strongest nonhuman fighters she knows.



Powers and Abilities.

She had been on the path of becoming an accomplished veterinarian, bright, intelligent, and like most living her early life she has skills with firearms, street brawling, gang warfare, fluent in Spanish and Louisiana Creole, due to living with her grandmother. As a Hexenbiest, Onyx woges into a fearsome visage of terrifying strength and power, and she also had the ability to use telekinesis, brew potions, and other witchy antics.



((ooc: As this is a DARK take on a known canon character, I do not intend to play her in the current structured game as she doesn't fit there. Only side games and if any new structured game in future.))

There was no better feeling than the nostalgia of being home.

The tall young woman today with hair into an elegant afro and in a form fitting black dress spent the first night out looking for old friends. All the known rooftop haunts. Listening on in known gang hangout spots for any hints of where to look for trouble. And she finds it.


And After observing from afar the always gentlemanly and usually very intelligent Donatello, Onyx had figured as sometimes happens that someone will be back to these rundown crack apartments to check on the rescued soul. So she waits. Intending to approach and nab Donatello. Though he wasn't her real goal, it was more to put the 'smart' one out of the way.

However, the Nightshade she had to take over for the day shift to watch for activity had called far earlier than expected to alert her of Don's return, shouting in an apartment she knew had been torn apart the night before, she had been amused by and watched the destruction.

Very odd, strange... and foolish. But a better opportunity was presented.

Mikey.

It had been a stroke of luck to catch the youth before he returned underground. Greeting him as her old self, as the spunky Angel, and she had genuinely been pleased to see him, those beautiful baby blue eyes and warm bright smile welcomed the hug and reveled in the strength and trust he had, and that she felt nothing for him, no inner feelings of deep friend love anymore. Just a pleasure at the way her special mix tranq shot had made him yelp in surprise, the way he collapsed only to be gathered up by the NightShades and taken away. All hers to do with as she will until she can use him to get his older brothers.
