Hi hi!

Um, most you all know me, but for those that don't, hi hi! Am Acid Lollipop here and in other spaces can be found as either a Candy or Erica Martins. Um, am a busy all the time workaholic and animal Mummy. Live in remote out back Australia with a very extended family and its hot all year round.

My fave fandom is TMNT followed closely by HP and How To Train You Dragon. Like many others, Star Wars, X-Men, XFiles etc just not as well versed in them. Am an average rpger whom began about two years ago now. Maybe a fair to average mod/admin - still learning .

Annnd that's all to know about me lol.

So I should probably do a formal introduction, because it's helpful to get to know everyone, eh?


Anyway... Hi!
Most of you guys know me from other places as Rogue (and no, not the X-Men character.. just a name that fits me and a handle I've been using for a looong time. I actually prefer it over my real name.) I decided to go with something different here because I didn't want to register that name in case someone wanted to play the character. You may know me from a few TMNT RPGs or facebook.. etc. Still, feel free to call me Rogue.


Why Cherokee Rose? It's the name of the flower that Daryl Dixon gives to Carol in 'The Walking Dead' TV show....


"It's a Cherokee Rose. The story is that when American soldiers were moving Indians off their land on the Trail of Tears, the Cherokee mothers were grieving and crying so much 'cause they were losing their little ones along the way from exposure and disease and starvation. A lot of them just disappeared. So the elders, they said a prayer; asked for a sign to uplift the mothers' spirits, give them strength and hope. The next day this rose started to grow where the mothers' tears fell. I'm not fool enough to think there's any flowers blooming for my brother. But I believe this one bloomed for your little girl. I needed another outlet, hence, why 'Rise of Heroes' was born. With all of the Marvel goodness coming out (and okay.. DC ) it's hard to ignore the characters that started it all for me.  


My first crush ever was Han Solo, but my all time love is Spider-Man. <3 Iron Man and Deadpool run a close second. Yes, I am Marvel. I do like Bat Man and his line of baddies, but not as into DC as a lot of folks. )


Team Cap or Team Stark? Stark all the way, baby. Though I am against pro-registration of Heroes...(Stark has a plan and I loves him, so I will follow him. )



Aside from Marvel, I'm an avid fan of 'The Walking Dead'. I read the comics and watch the show religiously. I collect the figures and anything else of TWD goodness that I can get my hands on. Daryl is the love. Michonne  and Glenn are probably my second favorites, but Jesus could take that away from those two. He's my favorite in the comics since there's no Daryl goodness.


 I'm also a TMNT fan and have been since the first comic was released, though it was the original TV show that had me hooked. All of these years later I still love them. Raphael is my favorite of all time, and it depends on the incarnation as to which is my second fave. Usually Mikey, but I have a soft spot for 2k12 Donnie. (and I hate 2k12 April for stringing him along.) Transformers is another one of my 'kicks'. My fave is Bee, but Ironhide holds a special place in my heart.


Outside of the nerd world, I work at a vet clinic and have been there for going on 9 years despite it being a horrible company. The only reason I tough it out is because I get to work with animals. My favorites are reptiles, snakes especially. Though I do love the warm and fuzzies, too.


Whenever free time allows, I like to write, whether it be through fanfiction or RPG. I don't mind RPing any scene, but I am not a fan of PWP (porn without plot) I just cannot get into it. It's fine for a one shot smut fic, but it's just something I prefer not to RP. I also stay away from games where all the characters do is 'hump'. It's just not mentally stimulating for me and it's... boring. If I wanted to read nothing but sex, I'd buy a porno. I also like to draw and try to get in practice where I can. I also enjoy making things out of clay.


What else?  Hmm.. can't think of anything else. Anyway, for those of you I already know.. *hugs* Thanks for tagging along. ^^ And for those of you that I am just now meeting, I look forward to getting to know you!

Bah not much about me to introduce I'm nearly forty - married, dad of two whom is a Professor of Visual Arts at the local uni here in the Auckland end of New Zealand.

Was totally not planning on playing here - just lurking... But I think if it is okay I may poke for a Donatello Hamato.
